This place is a solutely Heaven on earth! The staff is so friendly and helpful. This is not a luxury hotel with all the frills, but you can't get any better than this place! It is so serene and relaxing! Family owned,small and quiet. You literally feel as though you have the whole place to yourself! WE WILL BE BACK SOON!!! I know I am using a lot of exclamation points, but they are well-deserved.

Wow! No words to describe everything about this winter escape from cold northern Iowa in February! This is one of the GREATEST family trips we have taken. We the grandparents took our 2 kids, spouses and 5 grandchildren on this priceless adventure in paradise.The property is absolutely stunning and better than advertised. Awakening every morning to coffee on the patio (evenings with a glass of wine) overlooking the pool, beach and ocean was heavenly. Daily walks along one of the most beautiful beaches we have visited was a favorite.We chose this location to get away from all the crowded, busy areas most locations experience. This is a beautiful home and very well cared for. The home has every amenity you need during your stay! WOWZA the back area is a total paradise the most beautiful views. The pool is BIG and the water is warm… we all enjoyed the pool area day and night. The grandkids ages 4 to 12 said it was their favorite place to be. The sand on the beach is like powder sugar, lots of sand castles were created.Dave was responsive, knowledgeable and respectful from the moment I contacted him about his property and our return home. Going from the airport, grocery store (ordered our groceries couple days before our arrival so they were packaged and ready for pickup), ferry dock to North Caicos was easy with zero issues. Thank you Dave, Mary, Delano and Regina for making this a great experience! We are already planing our next visit for a longer stay.

Our group of 4 was looking for beach access that wasn't far away, and to get away from it all, and this property accomplished both. I did a decent amount of research on properties and the islands and we got what we were looking for with the Royal Hideaway. If you read through the reviews on this property, you will have a very good idea of what you are getting. The repeat stays from past reviewers is a big factor in why I decided to book this place and after staying once, I would definitely go back. The best part about the property is access to the water. Its about a 2-3 minute walk straight out from the property to get to a beautiful beach that you will most likely have all to yourself. Bambarra beach is about a 20 min walk or 5 min car ride, and is definitely worth checking out, but we ended up spending most of our time at the beach straight out from the property. The access to kayaks and stand up paddle boards through Royal Hideaway was an awesome amenity. The property itself was certainly nice enough for us! It has clearly aged over the years and salt-water has taken its toll but the property is still very nice. If you are looking for 5 stay accommodation, however, this may not be for you. Keep in mind, this is on an island that very few people live on. Minor upgrades or small construction projects would be a big undertaking due to the lack of access to goods and materials. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking and was very pleased with our experience!

Susan's place is such a wonderful find! If you're looking for a remote island vacation away from the crowds on Provo, this is the place! There are two main beaches on Middle Caicos -- Dragon Cay beach and Bambarra beach (which is a 3 min drive from this rental). We preferred Bambarra beach since it is quieter and the waves are gentler, so this rental was perfect for that. Getting here wasn't super hard -- from the Provo airport, you can take a shared taxi to the ferry (30 min), a ferry (30-40 min) and then pick up a rental car right outside the ferry to drive to the rental (50-60 minute drive). Susan gave very detailed instructions for finding the place and the address is marked on the main road (may also benefit from coordinates). The rental has EVERYTHING you need, a well stocked kitchen with utensils, knives and some spices. We brought a lot of what we wanted to eat from our grocery store at home and supplemented with Dard's grocery store (which is on the way from the ferry to this rental). In addition, the place is well stocked with beach equipment, including chairs, beach towels, multiple blankets, snorkling gear, and even sunscreen if you're running low. AC works well if you need it and a clean home. And the stars at night are beautiful!
