Overall it was just okay, can't say I'll be racing back. A few things: - it took ages to be checked in - no hotel/room information provided (i.e. food options, facilities, mini bar prices) either at check-in or in a compendium - the room was pretty tiny - the room was uncomfortably hot/humid when I entered initially (understand the need to conserve energy but it was a really unpleasant welcome when most guests have no doubt been travelling for a few hours) On the plus side, it's very close to everything you need and the cafe downstairs is one of the very few options open for breakfast on a weekend in the area.

Great find and great value for money
Loved the Kennigo Hotel Brisbane. We had a short stay and found it was very close to the train station, bars, restaurants etc. The coffee shop on site was really great too. All staff were very happy and helpful. Definitely recommend and we will be returning.

Everything was great. Our room felt a little bit like a cave though with the lack of sunlight. Other than that it was very comfortable and clean though.

Staff communication skills, the lady who checked us in seemed to be having a really bad day, i'm sure she gets asked the same questions each day, but thats her job. She could of at least acted like you wanted to be there.

I checked in 11pm at night. It was a nightmare, 2 staff on where they fought over who had to check me in. It took forever and they the guy that did it had no idea what he was doing. The room is tiny, the bathroom doesn't have the basic amenities other hotels have. It is not sound proof, so on level 3 I listened to the road the entire time and then as soon as there was sinlight it was straight in my room, the black out curtains, were not blackout. The kettle was disgusting (see picture) you can make people sick with that!! Then when I checked out, the lady had to leave me at reception to physically go and check the room before I could go. I told her about the disaster check in, she just said sorry, she was much better than the night check in staff. I was here for less than 9 hours, luckily, I would never come back.

Fairly basic room, but clean, beds are huge and comfy and bathrooms are tall person friendly as well (no poorly positioned shower heads here). Staff are friendly and cafe is great.

Kennigo staff were helpful and polite. The room and building was clean. It is located within walking distance of the Valley, however walking from there to the hotel at night is probably not tge safest. Excellent underground parking. Great coffee in the cafe.
