Bathroom tub drain full of hair -- we had to dig it out to not have water up above our ankles!! Room only cleaned once during 3 night stay. Stairways blocked off. Overall property not kept up well!!

This is a nice property.., just stayed here after a small orthopedic session for recovery. The other ratings are very deceiving and misleading.., staff here are great, accommodated my early and late ins/outs, room is spacious, plenty of them big, long pillows, a plenty secured parking and is walked by a nice gentleman a few times/day. It is not a 5 Star but 3-4 easily and for the price and short notice in gett availability somewhere Im glad i found this one. Id stay here next if I have another procedure at the same facility.., its athird of the $ - with kind and attentive people at the desk and a nice little breakfast to boot!

This property is well located, but is so old, the room furnishings and fixtures are several decades old. There are ants galore throughout the room. I’m surprised the reviews of this property are so positive, because this place was dingey and super old. Walls are paper thin, when someone started their car in the middle of the night - it sounded like I was in that car - and I was on the second floor. Great location and free parking are the only benefits.

Wonderful relaxing stay.
I've stayed here many times and will continue to do so. #1 location, near beach, Balboa, Laguna, restaurants, and shopping. #2 comfortable, spacious rooms, clean, well-maintained property. #3 Small gym is a plus. #4 refrig and wifi.

The staff was very nice however, the room needed updating and wasn't very clean. It had a strong odor that felt like it was trying to cover up something, so we had to keep the window open most of the time. It was very loud outside and a lot of guests were smoking right outside our windows. Lots of old, loud cars in the parking lot. People were slamming doors throughout the night. Top of the shower had black mold and walls in toliet area needed wiping down.

Close to Newport Beach and sufficiently quiet. Room had a musty smell which requied fan to be on at all times. Decent breakfast options though repetitive for the 5 days of my stay. Staff cleaned room upon request. Good deal for the location.
