I phoned the hotel ahead of my arrival with a query re parking at the call was answered quickly and the member of staff was really helpful. On arrival at the hotel the greeting was lovely and made me feel very welcome. My first impressions of the hotel and its surroundings were really good. Then I got to my room and was even more impressed! Large and spacious, really nice decor and it felt homely and welcoming. Clean and well maintained. I never ever sleep well in a hotel but I slept so so well due to the large comfortable bed! Checkout the next day was equally easy and again the staff member was very friendly but professional too. I would highly recommend the hotel and as my son is at university 5 mins away from the hotel I will definitely stay again in the future. Overall a fantastic experience -thank you :-)

Small but very well appointed room , very clean and very cozy , we only stayed for one night but wouldn’t hesitate to do so again. Great location next to the river and less than 10 minutes from the Cathedral.
