Romer house is a nice central location for vacation stay. The hotel is modern and recently updated. Bed super comfortable. We stayed on the 7th floor and maybe that is next to the hotwater boiler or maybe it is on demand hot water, but it was boiling hot! So if you like hot shower stay here. The price was great Except for the ridiculous high "resort" fee they add on. This fee includes disgusting coffee in the room and a complementary beer when you check in, except you paid for it in the "resort" fee. So not complementary at all. Basically stuff normally just included in a regular room rate they charge extra resort fee which leaves a really bad taste.

I was in Honolulu on business and the room was as expected. Staff was very friendly and made my stay comfortable. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. I’d stay here agin in the future…

Great location, difficult parking

Amazing location, it was located in central Waikiki area and most shops are in walking distance. Tea/ coffee were provided. However, parking is extremely difficult if you won’t wanna use the valet parking. There’s kettle in the room. Good comfortable bed.

Awesome property, the rooms are updated and very comfortable. Having updated bathrooms was fantastic. If it was closer to the water it would be the best hotel in Waikiki, although its location gives you quick walking access to some of the best food in the area. We will definitely be back.

Very convenient location - excellent front of house staff. Enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. Pool is like a large jacuzzi. Short walk to Waikiki beach and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We were provided refillable metal water bottles and towels for the beach. Great vibe and room very comfortable.

Yes, please! 👏💖 The dining and bar staff went above and beyond, delivering stellar service that made me feel right at home. The rooms were very nice—everything is clearly new. Plus, the huge patios/balconies are a wonderful touch! 🌅🌴 A special note to the valet team—they were truly the highlight! Engaging, friendly, and the best first faces you could hope for upon arrival. 🚘🌟 The calm ambiance of the outdoor pool and bar area was just what I needed after busy days on the beach. Loved our stay there, only issue was housekeeping never came during our 4 night stay and had to call front desk a couple of times for fresh towels, toilet paper and garbage bags. Wasn't a huge deal, I would definitely stay again.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. After realizing I left my AirPods in the room 20 minutes post-checkout, I contacted the hotel, but they refused to let me pick them up immediately, stating housekeeping would search. So I decided to return, the receptionist checked the room herself before allowing me in, but the AirPods were gone. The "Find My" app confirmed they remained on hotel premises, and then the staff member took them to: 1328 Lunalilo St. I guess that’s the address where she lives, since the following day AirPods returned to the hotel during working hours, and after the shift took them home to the same address again, lol. Additionally, the room was poorly cleaned (towels not replaced), and other guests shared similar complaints. This level of service is unacceptable and untrustworthy.
