It is a very very old hotel with no frills, and just one block back from the beach. Everything was walking distance. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, if you have these two things you can make do. Just beware of getting a room facing the street, the noise was horrendous.

The room was equipped with stove, refrigerator, mininmal dishes and pans, a microwave, and a table with 2 chairs. Unfortunately 1 of the chairs had screws or nails sticking up that you could feel when sitting on it thru the seat cushion. The hotel is not kept up as well as it could be in the common areas. The pool is small but refreshing. Staff was very helpful with storing our bags.

An older hotel but nice people working here and everything worked well in the room and around the hotel. Has a nice pool with good sun. On Wednesday nights there is a Hawaiian music jam that is terrific. Great location as two blocks to beach and one block to buses. Some good restaurants nearby. Would stay here again.

Very dated furnishings. I doubt the AC would be able to cool the room adequately on warm/hot days. Not quiet - there are grates/vents in entry door allowing hall noise and voices in and cooling to escape.
