Great place to stay, highly recommended. Stayed here 3 times already. Only thing I’d suggest is a fan in the bathrooms and a light on the balcony, other than that Sheraton Princess Kaiulani is a fabulous hotel.

If you are not going to stay on the beach, this is the best property you will find in Waikiki !

This has always been my favorite hotel in Waikiki. As a smaller hotel, the staff is friendly and provide excellent service, best location and overall wonderful experience. However, at check in, we were told that we were able to charge meals to the room as well as their other Marriott locations. We were then informed that we would receive a $ 50/day credit for a total of $ 200/stay. I questioned them several times about this and they reinsured me it was correct. However, at check-out, the $ 200 credit was not applied. Then the manager came out and told us that we didn't qualify and the staff member made a mistake. Unfortunately it was a let down after a great trip.

Sheraton is an older resort which is in the process of modernizing. It is conveniently located next to restaurants, the beach, and shopping. It was a 5 minute walk to Target, the International Market Place, the beach, Mitsuwa, Ross, Macys and more! There was a hidden charge that was not included in the original package purchased - resort fee ($32/day) and parking ($45/day). We thought we had a good package deal but after we checked out after five nights it was an additional $400. The resort fee included things we didn’t use such as classes, mifi, GoPro, etc. later we noticed they had bikes for hotel guests but not sure if that’s included in resort fee. Overall we really liked the location but not the extra fees.

Centrally located with lots of conveniences. Literally a 5 min walk to beach, shopping, and restaurants. We are next to an International Market, Target, Ross, and Mitsuwa. Sheraton Princess is older but they are in process of modernizing. There are hidden charges - daily resort fees ($32) and daily parking fees ($45). We stayed for 5 nights and were charged an additional $400 that was not included in our original package purchased. We had a microwave and they gave us two water bottles. We didn’t use anything in our resort fee offered which was mifi, a GoPro, classes, and others. We later saw bikes for hotel guests but not sure if that’s included.

The "PK" is our favorite hotel in Honolulu!
10 days at the PK (locals appreviate) was just right! We enjoyed breakfast daily (extra), being close to the ocean, across the street, shopping on both sides of Kalakaua! The only issue we had that the PK really needs to clear up asap is the elevators! They are old and it shows! We're going back in March 2025, hopefully, they will be working in pristine condition by then.

I like the location of this hotel - right across from the beach. It has all the basics and the food is good. Try the avocado toast for breakfast, or the half papaya with acai and granola. Both are delicious. It’s an easy walk to good restaurants, sunsets on the beach, shopping, and live entertainment.

The new tower rooms upper floors facing west are bombarded with loud boom box noise very late into the night. The traffic noise from Kalakaua Avenue below is very manageable the boom boom box noise is likely to keep most people awake and it was still going strong at 12:30 - 1 AM in the morning. I don't understand why the City and County of Honolulu allow this level of noise pollution this late at night.

Customer service counter for Japanese is a great idea and helpful but very unfortunately the lady at the counter during my stay was very rude and not knowing any customer service mind set. Because of her attitude I immediately lost interest for information i was looking for…. I did not get her name but she looked like she was in her 50’s or 60’s. I would never want to see her again…

Expensive. The room rate differed every night. They also have a resort daily fee of $40. I would probably not stay there again unless I got a great rate and no resort fee. It is located in a good area of Waikiki. It’s a few blocks to get to the beach. Rooms are very small. Staff is very nice. They have live music. Usually just one guy singing. Very good.
