Always a comfortable place to stay after a long drive, new lifts and key card upgrades are great. The ladies smoking outside the front door were a bit intimidating, this was in no way a reflection on the hotel. Easy quick and seamless check in was also a relief after driving 8 hours. Always a pleasure and highly recommended.

Very happy with my stay at The Grand Chancellor. The only thing that took the shine off was that the rooftop pool was closed for repair.

Nice hotel. Recommended. Only thing that annoyed me a bit was that the complimentary parking was already full. Instead of informing me I can park my car for free on the road behind the hotel I first got offered to purchase a paid parking spot for 25dollars a night. Why not be honest about it? "you can either park your car for free on the road or you can purchase a protected parking spot". Additionaly I don't think the upselling is ideal: "would you want to upgrade your room". Everyone who checked in was asked the same question. Everyone checked in late in the evening and booked only one night.
