As we were a late checkin (late by under 1 hr), we were told that we were supposed to recieve an email with details on how to get our key, but sadly we didnt. We sent messages and called to confirm this, but got no reply. When we arrived, we called the after hours number on the door and the fellow promptly helped us over the phone. It was a little time consuming due to their confidentiality policies (which is good - but bad when you are running late and want to get into your room quickly).
We were only given 1 key, so as my husband needed to go grab our stuff from the car in the rain, I had to sit in the dark as everything turned off and there was very limited light. We sent a message but no reply. The room was very small and musky; but the bed was very comfortable.
I thought (by the photos and description), we'd get a balcony and a view of the mountain; but we only got a stuffy small room with a window, facing a daycare centre and the road. Luckily we were only staying for 1 night. We were told upon departure (she was a lovely lady), because we chose 1 bedroom, this is what you get.
P.s. As we were returning from our event to Allure, we spoke to a gentleman. He too got frustrated because he too was a late checkin with no email (same day as us), and noone answered his calls. Apparently he was there for a while at the front door. He didnt know what to do, because he too didnt recieve an email. We felt his frustration and pain.
We dont think we will stay there again.
