This property has a great location with its proximity to the beach. If you pay the upgrade fee, you can have an ocean view, which is very nice. The staff were good. The room had what we needed and was clean. The property itself is old and run down. While the location is great, there are homeless people sleeping and living just across from the property and you get the joy of looking at them while trying to enjoy the ocean view from your room. There is also a very busy bus line just outside the hotel and again a visual obstruction to the ocean. With all that said, if there were no homeless, buses or run down property, then the price of the room would be 3-4X more. We booked it for the economical advantage given its closeness to the beach.

The property is right on the ocean so obviously that part is awesome and the fact it’s a third cheaper than most places on the ocean makes it affordable. The parking is also free. It’s not near anything exceptional to walk to but does have basic needs within walking distance. While the location right by the ocean is great, the downside is looking out the upgraded room view you purchased to look at the ocean only to have homeless people a constant string of bus lines coming through. I’d probably stay here again but know if you are staying here the property is pretty run down. Our room was clean.

The property is one of those hidden gems. From the outside it give a certqin impression but once we got into the room we where pleseantly surprised. The room looked to have been remodled and there was ample amount of space in the room and bathroom. Walkimg distance feom the beach, like 1/4 od a block. Great location to be a beach bum. In a location that there are options all around walking or driving. Would definitely re vist.

They trick you on the room selection online until check-in. Meaning, you don’t get the room selected and then they offer to give you the room that was originally chosen for an UPGRADE charge.

The entire place reeks of mold, the sheets and towels are filthy, the bed had bed bugs, the carpet looks and smells like it hasn't been replaced in 50 years. The manager is a thief, tries to negotiate to get more money out of you, Petty, low class, miserable.

The worst hotel, moldy, filthy, the manager is the terrible person. You can read threw google reviews of how he treats and leaves then stranded. He tries to barter, push you around, yell, scream, hes a perverted psycho criminal.

Strangly laid out property! But is built to have ocean views (over a parking lot) The property truely is right at a beach entrance, so its very easy to stay here and beach it all day. And what a beautiful long beach it is! Disappointing not to have any kind of breakfast. Jack in the box is right next door though. OC bus stop is right there by the beach too,if you need to go anywhere. Property has covered parking for free!!

The property was a great value for what it was. It was just over $300 for Sat-Monday, Labor Day weekend. Other places were $120 plus more for the same nights. Rooms were decent given the price point. They were clean, staff was friendly, I was always able to find parking and we were in walking distance from Sunset beach and a short drive to Huntington Beach. A lot of restaurants close by, great value. Place can use some updating but also, given the price it just is what it is.
