Pool Maintenance Reminder:

For the optimal pool experience, Juan, our pool specialist, performs essential maintenance on Mondays and Thursdays in the afternoon. His work is crucial for ensuring clean and safe water and typically concludes within 20 minutes. We kindly request your cooperation during this brief period to facilitate access. Thank you for your understanding and assistance in maintaining our pool's excellence. In addition our gardeners come on Thursday afternoons.

During the colder months there will be a charge to heat the pool from $35 to $50 per day assessed and will be billed once the dates have been booked.

Pets are welcome in our home, but we ask that you follow these guidelines to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests:

*A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per stay

*Please inform us before booking if you are planning to bring your pet(s) with you and a short description.

*We require a pet fee of $75 per stay (Check the box in the section where you enter the number of guests before booking).

*Pets must be HOUSE-TRAINED, well-behaved (NO BARKING EITHER), and up-to-date on all vaccinations. NO vicious breeds due to insurance limitations.

*Please keep your pets off the furniture and beds (You can bring your own blankets for the beds if you can't keep the pets off).

*Please do not leave your pets unattended in the home or on the property.

*Please clean up after your pets and dispose of waste properly in the trash bins.

A Surveillance camera located above the garage in front of house records all coming and going along with a ring doorbell camera for security. No amplified music or loud voices on patio or garden.

City of La Quinta has mandated that no Amplified music is allowed outside of home. Loud voices, yelling or screaming is not permitted. Fines by the city could exceed $5,000 and guests will be responsible for fines and legal fees.

Lovely place in great location

My wife, sister, and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The place is very comfortable and attractively decorated. It is well equipped-- the kitchen was great, etc.We really enjoyed being close to La Quinta Old Town, and the host was very responsive and helpful.

Life in The Cove

My wife and I just spent a month at this lovely spot in La Quinta right in the cove. It was a perfect spot for us as we do a lot of hiking and many of the trails start within a couple of miles. The home itself was just as described and was walking distance to the Old Towne center. The owners provided use of the heated hot tub at no extra cost. I have never been a guest at a better stocked VRBO than this one; they had absolutely everything needed for our stay. The communication with the owner was quick and easy and very helpful. If you are interested in La Quinta, I would give this spot a serious look. Thanks so much to Skip and Monica and we hope to be guests again soon.

Turning 40 and a golf tournament

Spent a week in the Desert and enjoyed turning 40. Went hiking, golfing, and relaxing by the pool. The location was great, and we frequently walk into Old Town. The Farmer's Market was a gem. The house was well appointed and comfortable, and the hot tub heated up very fast. Cheer!

Peaceful for people and birds alike

We had a wonderful stay at Skip and Monica's place. The house was clean and very functional. Our 27 year old caique parrot, Chester, had a great time! We enjoyed walking to Old Town and relaxing by the pool. The only problem was our stay was too short. We will be back!

Excellent place...with minor caveats

This was a beautiful place. It is at a great location...it is within a short walking distance to the center of the La Quinta business area. The house was extremely clean and the hosts were completely cooperative. We loved the pool table that was part of the property! We also loved the multiple inflated pool floats and toys that were available. The Master bedroom was large and roomy with a similar roomy bathroom and plenty of closet space. The minor caveats to this place are few and are, of course, subjective...The pool is on the small side (the picture on the website makes it look larger than it is). The pool is like either a large spa or a personal sized pool with only enough room for 2 (maximum 3) floats. The two extra bedrooms feel small and our family members who used them felt cramped. The main room (which is a Great Room) combines a kitchen, dining room, bar, and TV viewing area all together. This not a problem if there are just two people...but anymore people make it a problem...people will be talking in the kitchen or dining room and others trying to watch TV, resulting in a very noisy environment where everyone is disturbed by the others.

Everything you need and more!

Hands down the best vacation rental property I have ever stayed in. I can’t think of one thing that I needed and didn’t even expect they would have but I thought what the heck let me check before I run to the store….you name it they had it. The hosts were so sweet, so responsive and so resourceful. 100% will be coming back again. I needed a quite relaxing get away with no worries and this was the perfect place.

Perfect Location

This is our first time staying in La Quinta. Although we come to the desert annually, we have always stayed in the Palm Desert or Rancho Mirage area. Changing regulations in those areas pushed us to look more eastward and I now think La Quinta has those other cities beat. This home’s kitchen is very well equipped if you are a cook. Tons of spices and plenty of pots, pans, etc. The pool table and dartboard were a bonus on the one bad weather day we had. This home is a quick 5-10 minute walk to everything you want to do in La Quinta. There is a great park close by as well as hiking trails. 4 bikes with helmets are in the garage for your use as well as a basketball and pool toys. As I said before, very well stocked home!

One of THE BEST vacation rentals EVER!!

This rental has it all!! We visited La Quinta since this rental location was an easy 10 min drive to the conference @Hyatt in Indian Wells. The house was absolute perfection for us and our dog. A completely enclosed backyard for her to roam freely was amazing, along with a great pool, spa, and comfy outdoor furniture set for us to hang out at. The inside was even better!! Great kitchen with everything needed, fun pool table, great beds and bathrooms, and a bar and coffee station to top it all off! Easy walk across the street to the community park, and 2 blocks walk to the bear creek nature trail. We will definitely be back for another stay, and hopefully a longer one. Skip and Monica were also such great hosts, and because no one was booked the next day, graciously offered us a late check out!! Of all the vacation rentals we’ve stayed in, this is hands down one of our favorites :)

Great property and excellent location

This really is a very nice property! We used the pool and hot tub every day. Really liked the proximity to the Old Town area, about a five minute walk. Also used the grill a couple of times. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Wonderful stay with my one year old

Stayed several nights with my husband, mother in law, one year old, and dog and we all had the best time! Perfect location for park walks or walking to downtown La Quinta. Very clean house and pool. Safe and secured yard for the dog. High chair and safe wood or leather furniture for baby. Pool table for the adults. We plan to come again!

Desert Gem

This house is beautiful. Ceilings soar and it is even nicer than the pictures. Everything is so clean and well appointed. The pool is perfect and the misters a god send in the high temps. We had such a wonderful and relaxing time. Everything you need is minutes away - just everything you could need/want in a rental. Skip & Monica were so helpful and communicative - just wonderful!
