We came for our honeymoon and I did my research to find a good hotel. It’s a beautiful hotel but I didn’t realize how stinky it would be because of the warf being right there.
They also were pretty hard to get a hold of when we were calling. The guy was always busy or just not there.
Then we didn’t realize there wasn’t room service and the food from their restaurant was below average for high prices. So it was a bummer having to go get it. Again we were on our honeymoon and wanted to split a bit more.
But then by no fault of the hotel the power went out from 6:30pm-12:30am and they were very apologetic. They did give us $100 off but honestly I think we should have gotten almost the whole day comped from not being able to 1 get food, use the tv or anything and having to walk up and down 5 flights of stairs….
So overall I had a good time because of being with my new husband but was disappointed in the experience :/ the staff was very friendly though. Eros one of the Bellman was the star example of what service should be. Very friendly and has the guest in mind. Deserves a raise and praise indeed.
