Great hotel! Really popping and hip. The hotel is extremely secure with ample security, given how sketch DTLA can get. The ambience is amazing and the crowd is really fun. The rooms are tech savvy, however lack a few basics like hot water kettles, refrigeration, ample outlets near the beds and coffee machines. They serve free coffee in the mornings, but would have loved some arrangement in the rooms as well. There are plenty of restaurants around, and the hotel is close to public transit routes.

The location was really good for this trip wanted to go to Koreatown and it's just a fast metro ride away the metro stations are very close by around the corner. Went to Little Tokyo as well and if was just at a walk distance of like 10-15 min walk. There is a lot of homeless around the area.

The rooms are small but efficiently designed. Very close to Pershing square metro stop and grand central market. Staff was helpful and welcoming. Loved being able to control everything from I pad.

I loved CitizenM. It was clean, hipster-y (in a good way, has a decent bar, and definitely has a European flair. Which I love. The rooms are very small though. It was perfect for me as a single traveler, but might feel a touch snug for a couple.

This was an amazing stay. The room is small but the perfect size for a getaway. The room is automated with an IPad and the common areas are amazing!! Definitely upgrade to the breakfast which is an amazing buffet.

If you’re travelling as a young person to a concert or something, this is a good spot if you can get a good deal. I was travelling with my mom and it was not suitable for us. First off, the rooms are the size of a closet, tiny, similar layout to that of a camper van or small RV. The bed is against the wall so one person has to climb over the other if you need to use the bathroom. The bathroom is also just several feet from the bed so 0 privacy. Only a red light in the bathroom which was pretty weird for two ladies travelling together. Plug beside the bed didn’t work, called down and the staff was very polite but kept asking us to reset the plugs and try again. We made the most of it, the staff was very friendly and the place was pretty clean (despite finding a used qtip in my bed) I would absolutely NOT stay here if you’re over 25, however if you’re young and up for a downtown LA adventure at a good price, it’s suitable.
