The room is in decent shape. Good A/C and nice bathroom. Carpet is ancient and filthy. The biggest problem is noise. We could hear loud footsteps and thuds all night. Called the front desk several times and they couldn’t solve the issue. If you actually want to sleep, would not recommend it.

Nice stay!
It was a great stay! The shower had great water pressure, it was fairly quiet, and checking in and checking out was a breeze. My only complaint was the mattress on the bed. It was pretty hard. Everything else was great.

A nice 2 nights @the Dunes
I stayed 2 nights @ Dunes hotel Wilshire. I liked it. Room & bathroom are spacious & clean, bed is comfortable, pool is inviting and it is well situated. Staff is awesome! The bus 720 will take u to downtown or Santa Monica. I recommend this hotel

Unfortunately, we were given a small dark, corner room on the street side of the property. So very noisy, it was hard to sleep.I asked for a different room, but was told there was none. However, upon leaving the next morning, saw the housekeeper checking clean,unused rooms. Also woke up with, what appeared to be, bites of some kind, on my shoulders and arms. Will be looking for other accomodations for future.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean with good beds and shower. Enough soap, shampoo, and towels so no need for asking and waiting as we've had in other hotels. One thing we can note is AC was too powerful so we turned it off and opened windows. But the street was loud. Still it didn't bother us much and we slept well since we were pretty tired and beds very comfortable.
