I was awoken in the middle of the night by wails and screams from another guest. I tried the front desk button on the phone, but it didn't work. Eventually the police were called.

Stay on Nov.2024 for one night. The room is clean and the staff is friendly, but the Main Street is noisy. We could not really sleep despite having windows closed. They need a chair or small sofa to seat. They advertise as parking available but they don't provide parking price in web site. $34 doll per night. Be aware!

Disappointed… I came down for breakfast the first day at their restaurant, Michael at the front desk told me my room had a $20 VIP Expedia credit that I could use at their restaurant. When I went to checkout, they said he made a mistake and there was nothing they’d do about it. They gave me the run around and were very rude about it.

Very poorly designed bathroom
The room was fine (smallish), clean and the service was great, but the bathroom was the poorest design I have ever encountered. Shower is open on 3 sides there is no lip to Lee the water from spreading all over the floor. With normal use, water was splashing nearly to the bathroom door and there was a puddle reaching the bathroom counter. We had to ask for several extra towels to make a homemade lip to reign in the water. There is also almost no slant in the floor towards the drain so water had to be pushed towards it. This made the bathroom a wet mess for the entire stay.

Pros: Posh, boutique style rooms. Aesthetically pleasing. AC in room blew ice cold. Hotel location is central to everything in L.A. great launching point. Housekeeping was stellar with no issues. Fresh towels and sheets everyday. Felt it was a well maintained hotel. The staff was responsive and courteous. There’s a cafe on the ground floor that was always packed and lively. The food was delicious. Cons: Parking at hotel is not included with room. It’s $35/per night. The bathroom wall in room is frosted glass which is translucent. You can’t make out details but you can see when someone is on the toilet and their movements. There’s no microwave, fridge or coffee maker inside the room. The building is older and sits on a very busy street. There’s a lot of road noise and the walls/doors are thin. Overall I am satisfied with the hotel. Good place for couples or singles. Convenient location but can get pricey to get all the amenities.
