Take advantage of the coastal air . . . relax, sunbathe or BBQ off the gated side yard. Our recent backyard remodel has seating to enjoy a meal as well as a conversation area including a daybed. If you're a "people watcher" enjoy sitting out in front under the umbrella during those warmer summer months!
Once you've arrived at Maison de Fleurs, you don’t really need a car to enjoy Belmont Shores, Naples, Belmont Heights, several beaches or parks nearby because you're in close proximity to just about everything on foot. Our property is close... yet just far enough to enjoy a little peace and quiet to read a book or take a nap!
For some of the local activities: Take a tour of the famous Queen Mary, visit the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific or if you have time - take the ferry to Catalina island. Go whale watching and most likely you'll get to see some dolphins frolicking alongside the boat. Again, there is quite a large selection of restaurants, bars and boutiques within walking distance. You might enjoy riding a bike or walking along the canals of Naples Island to look at beautiful homes, boats and/or beaches. If you don't feel like walking, consider a gondola ride and relax while you enjoy the scenery by water! Visit the Long Beach Art Museum or our local Performing Art Center.

**Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm is a 30 minute drive . . . or take an Uber/Lift and bypass parking fees.
If you're visiting the Long Beach Convention Center, we're a 10 minute drive along the coastline. There’s also an “hourly” bus that will also shuttle you to Shoreline Village another area with shops, restaurants and sightseeing.
The property is an easy drive to South Coast Plaza, Huntington Beach's popular 'surf city' or Seal Beach.

(LGB) Long Beach Airport - (15 minutes from property)
(LAX) Los Angeles Inter. Airport (35 minutes from property)
(SNA) Orange County Airport is (30 minutes from property)
Timewise, LGB is much easier getting 'in and out' of than LAX as it's much smaller and very close to our cottage. SNA (also known as John Wayne Airport) is also a smaller airport and located in Orange County. Timeframes can vary depending on the time of day and current traffic conditions.

If you desire to be within WALKING distance to all of the shops, restaurants, pubs, and boutiques of 2nd Street, this is the place! The 'downtown' area is NOT considered Belmont Shore. Staying within the true boundaries will allow you to enjoy the area without having to drive and park your vehicle. Enjoy a property that includes the use of our private onsite garage.
This property is on one level throughout the interior. It does however have a raised front porch as well as raised back porch with three steps upward. It's in a location where bungalows and cottages were built in the early 1920's and is NOT suitable for guests requiring ADA Standards ( "Americans with Disabilities Act") requiring assistance or wheel chair.

Although our listing indicates a "FIRM" cancellation policy, after signing our Standard Rental Contract we want you to be aware that we understand emergencies can happen. If you have the need to cancel your reservation, I will reopen those dates making every effort to rebook them. If I’m able to rerent your dates, you will be refunded for those dates less a $100 cancellation fee as well as the service fee VRBO retains. These details are also reflected in our Standard Rental Agreement and want our guests to know THIS ALLOWANCE LEAVES OUR GUESTS WITH MORE FLEXIBILITY than the "FIRM" rental option indicated on the listing.
A signed "Standard Rental Contract" is required upon receipt of all “accepted” bookings. This contract details your payments, dates, etc. per the agreement made through VRBO. This property is solely managed by the owner of property vs. a management company.
