Not to the usual Doubletree standards - * room was downgraded at check-in but they did offer free parking *ice machine, bathroom lights and toilet paper holder were not working *bed was very comfortable *breakfast buffet dishes were not kept replenished and service was spotty *front desk said because we didn't book through them, they couldn't provide adjustments

The reception staff was delightful and welcoming. The lobby was bright and inviting. Parking was easy, location was terrific with its proximity to beach neighborhoods and LAX. We would stay here again.

Good Location with good dining options near by. The hotel is nice but unfortunately our room was in need of maintenance and as a result of poor maintenance our daughter was hurt. A large wood panel fell off the bathroom vanity falling on our daughter’s foot. Lots of tears but thankfully no need for a hospital visit. Filed an incident report and they fixed it but what nothing to happen. Never in all my years travelling. The hotel never followed up with us though which I think is surprising. If my daughter was younger this could have been more serious. Despite this, the hotel is nice and convenient to visit LA.

The property is VERY dirty. My room stinks horribly. It is in the middle of nowhere. Staff was rude when I arrive late at night. They didnt clean my room despite the fact that I stayed for FIVE days. I would have changed hotels immediately, but they didnt want to reimburse me, so I styed for five days in that horrible place. This hotel is NOT WORTH your money. It is expensive, and definitely not worth the price. This was more of a motel vibe for me. Terribly regret to have asked my family to stay here.

I only stayed at the Hotel MDR one night, and didn't require much from the staff. But the place seemed well maintained, and the room was clean and spacious. I exercised in the morning. The elliptical machines weren't working, so I jogged on the treadmill and lifted some weights. There were many children there with their parents, which is fine.
