We enjoyed the beach access, cleanliness of the room, and walkable features of location. The construction next door, which will end, created a good bit of noise that impacted the area score. The openness between rooms of the ocean view balcony rooms (Floor 9 at least) could be improved for privacy both of the balcony and views into rooms.

The property was great for what we needed. It was older and could use some updating but was in a great location. Very walkable to a grocery and great restaurants. The walking/bike path was amazing. The beach service was great as well.

This is not a place i would pick for vacation. In my room, my window didn't work and my bathroom door was attached backwards. The fence to the beach wasn't working for a digital key, and there was no side entrance so we had to ride our bikes back a few blocks to get around to the front of the hotel. There was construction going on next door, that i had no idea was going to be there. There is a parking charge of 60/day and resort charge of 30/day. I know most hotels don't do this either but it would be nice for the hotel or expedia to have these charges listed more prominently. At the beach they had 5-6 cabanas for people to rent, and they they had chairs behind them in a small beach place. I wasn't allowed to move my chair, so instead of being about to look out on the water, I stared at an empty cabana the whole time. no one was in the cabanas which were set up at the beach edge and blocking everyone's view. Walking back from the beach you could see a rat trap next to the wall. I'm being picky here, because i know all places have them, but could you hide it a bit! lol There was one restaurant and a coffee place. The coffee place closed early afternoon though which was disappointing bc they didn't have much else. The employees were very kind and helpful, and made the experience enjoyable. But i wouldn't book this hotel to make you feel great about your getaway. It's too expensive to have an ok experience

The staff was wonderful and the hotel itself was nice and right on the beach. The only issue we had was our room was not the cleanest! There was a very gross towel, dirt on the floor and the rugs and chairs were stained. The bed was comfortable, just not sure it was a 4 star room. We also paid $200 extra for 2 nights between parking and the resort fees. Food was very pricey, a can of soda was $5 and a snack size back of potato chips was too. The pool was nice, they had bikes available and being close to the beach was convenient!

Our room smelled like an ashtray. Someone was smoking weed and the smell came through the ventilation system. The food options/menu were not what was advertised when booking our trip - only the overpriced and below average buffet was available due to the holiday, although we stayed for six days. No one at the towel hut was ever friendly.
