Not what I expected and completely disappointed.

I checked out within the hour of checking in. Got a bad feeling as soon as I got into the room. I expected a lovely little inn, but instead it looked more like a rent by the month place. It looked cute from the outside, but old and worn down on the inside. Right off the bat was the smell of marijuana. The a/c didn’t work, the fireplace didn’t work and sparked, the fridge was loud, the shower curtain rod was loose, there was no safe, the screen on the deck sliding door was hanging off. The person at the front desk was not at all surprised that I was checking out. I was extremely disappointed. He offered me a partial refund on nights two and three, but I should get it all back as I had to pay for another hotel!

My husband and I have been coming here since 2017 we came this year in March for our 31st wedding anniversary we always get the upstairs with Ocean view the rooms are really big the staff is really nice and we absolutely love it

our room was nice! great shower and bathroom! bed was super comfortable. the only thing is there’s not very much views as there are buildings blocking the view but it is like a 4 minute walk down to a beachfront, 2 minutes if you run! i enjoyed watching the sunrise and just quickly running down to the beach that had a great view! staff were all nice and helpful! it was about a 15 minute walk to the aquarium and all the other shops there in cannery row. i definitely enjoyed my stay and would visit here again!

The parking you had to pay for it , we were in the first floor. We could hear everything happened in the second floor above us. We did not sleep because I think they had little kids they where tuning jumping back-and-forth in their room for the price I pay I don’t think it was worth it.

You could hear and feel the wind pushing the air under the door. The bathroom had both red and black mold growing in it and did not feel clean. There were no options to recycle anything on the property either.

I had the deluxe king suit and had a really nice experience at Cannery Row Inn!! I even decided on the day I was originally supposed to check out to add another night and the very nice day time receptionist worked it out for me so that my husband and I could stay another night and didn’t have to switch rooms. The housekeeper was awesome and straightened up our room for us very nicely and provided above and beyond what we asked. I was nervous about this hotel because of some of the reviews but honestly it’s great pricing, great location so we could walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go, the king bed was the softest most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on, covered parking was included, and overall the room was very nice. I also had a partial ocean view and the beach is right there so that was nice to wake up to as well. The only reason it’s not a 5/5 overall rating is because the room did have an odd smell when we first got there, the tv channel options were very limited unless you log in to your own Netflix, and the remote control for the tv was hard to use.

Our stay at Cannery Row Inn was ok. The person at the front desk at check in was friendly. I was surprised though that we had to pay $17.00 to park at the hotel. The room was comfortable but a little dirty and the furniture was very outdated, and worn.
