Room with prime location!
This place was in a great location and you can't beat the price. I was greeted with a friendly welcome, and while our room wasn't ready yes (we arrived a little before 3p), I was still able to check in and receive my keys. We only had to wait about 10 minutes for our room to be ready. Everything was clean and the fireplace added a special touch to our weekend away. There was an extra blanket and pillows which was nice since the room did not get very warm with just the heater on. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location and value. But the property needs to invest in better bedding. With only one blanket on the bed (and no extra blankets in the closet) the room was too cold (even with the heat on) to sleep comfortably in January. I had to put on my puffy coat and get back in bed (and the heater was supposedly at 75 although it was nowhere near that temp in the room). So perhaps ask for extra blankets.

This was a great, reasonably priced hotel stay in the heart of downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. It's easily walkable to popular restaurants and shops. The room was larger than many in the area, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Super friendly service from the get-go. Clean, large, comfortable room with an ocean view. Plenty of parking. Extremely close to town center. Great walkability. Breakfast was included, it was somewhat limited but it was enough for us. So glad we took a chance on this place, we'll be back!

Great place to stay!!
The bed was super comfortable and the staff was friendly and responded to our needs quickly. Carmel is a beautiful place and this hotel was a super cute place to stay. I think it was a very fair price for the quality we got. The Continental breakfast was good, there wasn't a lot of variety, but what was there was good quality.
