The overall conditions are in super bad shape. Elevator not working for the 3 days we were there. The conditions of the room were in very poor shape. There is rust in every aparent iron ducts and door hinges. The bathtub looks old and dirty. The little den has dead plants and was in need of cleaning. There is no decent breakfast in reality or a very basic offer of any alternative at the hotel. Las but not least, the crew does no seem to worry about any feedback for improvement.

I chose the King Size Suite because it had a tub with jets in the room, however when we went to use it, the jets barely got a bubble out! What a waste of money!!! When checking out, I informed the girl at the front desk, but felt she could care less…also they don’t advertise on website that hotel has a jacuzzi next to the “Barely Heated Pool”. Also we had to trek up 3 flights of stairs because their elevator is still out of order!!! Their continental breakfast needs to be a little better, so very basic!!! For the money they was paid for our hotel stay, we felt it was not worth it!!!!

because of my back pain, I checked with their front desk 10 days before reservation that they have elevator?, they said yes they do, they have elevator, but when I got there, elevator does not working, They said the elevator it’s already out of service for one week, I asked them do they have any doorbell or someone who can assist me to take all my and my wife suitcases three floor upstairs? They said no!!! After an hour when I took all my suitcases upstairs, I called from desk to see when the elevator will get fixed and they said they don’t know and until I left the place after three days, it was still not fixed,, they offer me first floor room, which it was next to some company who do car cleaning and detailing inside the hotel parking!!!??? with lots of noise of their cars and their compressors, so staying at that hotel was not a good experience at all

Elevators not working. Had to carry luggages up and down 2 flights of stairs, staff had no heart. Needed pillows and they said only one per room… I have very bad vertigo and need to prop myself up sleeping can’t lay flat down but they didn’t care. After pleading they gave me extra pillows. The breakfast was awful.. bathroom dark and runner down. Sink was cracked. Bathroom dirty. Seems like everything was falling apart.

Pictures look great!
The staff was great. We initially had a room that shared a balcony with the adjacent room. The staff had no problem finding us another room without a shared balcony. Mattress was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. The mixing valve for our shower seemed to not work. The water was either hot or cold and it was hard to get it to be warm. Bathroom mirror edges were rusty and there was some rust staining on the floor from the metal frame used to box out the mattress legs. Felt like we were paying a premium price for a average motel.

The king suite was nice and great for the family. Two full bathrooms, upstairs was provided privacy and the Murphy bed was comfy.

Value stay in Monterey
Had a beautiful king bed room suite with fireplace and separate couch TV area. This was ideal as I had to take a few meetings before starting my Monterey vacation so my partner had somewhere to relax while I was at the desk. The Wi-Fi was good but it wasn't streaming anything but acceptable for meetings. I thought it was good value for the price compared to other hotels in the area. The king executive suite also has a balcony with two eating areas so if you book adjoining rooms it would be kind of nice for a family. There was parking underneath and an elevator. The only thing is the headboard was kind of scratched up I'm sure people have had fun in the room and things are a little dated but for half the price of another hotel when I'm going to just be out most of the day this is good.

wifi service sucks. i had no reception the entire time i was there and i was there for 4 days and 3 nights. my son threw up on the sheets and i didn’t get housekeeping until the next following day. i won’t be booking here again.
