If the expectation on the guest is to keep the room clean then the room should be clean to start with but the carpet was filthy. If you put signs up telling guests what to do and not do then make sure the English is correct.
As a guest I have a an expectation of a clean room and not be treated as though I don't know how to leave a room with large signs taped to the wall.
I felt very uncomfortable at this hotel.
I was surprised to find that the restaurant is not open on a Saturday night so don't plan to dine in on a Saturday night ! Great location directly across from the shopping centre.
Not quite 4-star quality which I have come to expect from other professionals e.g. shoddy patchwork on a wall (too cheap to sand and paint it), cups/saucers but bamboo teaspoon (too cheap to provide metal in a 4-star motel), barely 20 squares left on the toilet roll (too cheap to provide a full roll), just half a dozen tissues in the dispenser (too cheap to provide more tissues)
For a motel with such a high rating we were disappointed. The motel was in a very convenient location, next to a shopping centre. The receptionist was lovely but our room overlooked the carpark.Our room was well equipped but the lighting in the room was quite poor and the bed was not very comfortable.The shower was good. There wasn't any internet for our whole stay despite asking for it to be rebooted.
