Red Caboose Motel visit.

My first stay at The Red Caboose was back in 2016 and I have been making return visits at least a few times per year ever since. The Pricketts purchased the property in 2016 and have been making improvements ever since including remodeling the interiors of the cabooses. On my most recent stay in June 2024, I was assigned to the Burlington Route Caboose which had an interior remodel since my previous stay in it a few years ago. Room was comfortable with wall unit air conditioning, cable TV, mini-fridge, microwave, and wireless Internet. Shower had good water pressure and was hot. I dined at the on-site Casey Jones Restaurant and had pot roast with mashed potatoes and veggies and apple crumb pie ala mode. Meal was good along with the service. Christine, the front desk clerk has been there since my first visit in 2016 and always makes check-in feel welcoming. All in all, I enjoy my stays at The Red Caboose and will be back soon.
