Exceptional hotel, exceptional staff. Mandarin Oriental hotel is a sign of quality. Luxury hotel with great location in Singapore, great food, gluten-free options too, great pool with amazing view and super friendly staff.
The staff was super attentive and helpful. The property had a nice airy feel to the place which in Singapore is a rarity as all hotels are high rises with buildings on all sides .
What I did not like was the rooms were small
And so were the bathrooms . Very tight squeeze for a luxury hotel . Upgrades are difficult to come by in terms of points as their loyalty program has its limitations as the brand geographical spread is limited . So unless you travel to those destinations difficult

Mandarin Oriental rarely fails to deliver, nor does the Singapore branch. A great hotel with fantastic, dedicated and service minded staff. Enjoyable from beginning to end and highly recommended.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed due to their excellent service. From the check-in staff to front bell man to the restaurant staff, everyone was so accommodating and pleasant
Beautiful hotel with stunning views of the Bay and Marina Bay Sands. Staff were lovely and very attentive
Pool area was gorgeous , staff brought complimentary water, face flannels and face sprays. One day I got a body spray of lemongrass. Lovely. Breakfast was very high quality and so much choice

This is really a business hotel suited for people coming in and out of Singapore for meetings or breakfast/lunch meetings. The hotel is generally fine but hasn’t been fully upgraded throughout and certainly parts of it feel dated or worn out. There was a damp smell coming from the area outside our room which needed to be dehumidified, and our room constantly felt “wet” while our kids room was much dryer. Service is good and there are 2-3 restaurants in the hotel which were generally empty (and we stayed while Taylor Swift was in town) but with decent food. Rooms are small but adequate. Hotel is located close to the Marina Bay Sands and the SunTec mall. There was a lot of construction going on outside and the immediate area is otherwise empty. About a 10-15 min drive to the malls in Orchard and anywhere else in the main southern part of Singapore you might want to go which is convenient. Overall the hotel is functional with good service but lacks energy and character, and I left feeling there was nothing memorable about my stay.
