Great resort but do not eat at the Banrai sushi
The property is very beautiful, the choice of restaurants is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place and may possibly be going back this winter holiday! Although the restaurant choices are very good, I do not recommend the Banrai sushi place. The food is good but the service is terrible! I felt so disrespected and it was not a good experience there. I want to give a shout out to Kim at the pool bar. She was friendly and very helpful in getting around the hotel. If you are lucky enough to run into her at the pool bar, do say Hi and talk to her, she is very friendly!

Property was nice but the room was so so for what you pay. No fridge so had to always eat at a restaurant and leave left overs behind. The parking lot is a walk from the entrance and you pay $28 a night to self park. The room was musty smelling but looked clean. The walk from the elevator to the room was also long. The staff was very friendly. I probably would not stay here again but only because I prefer to be walking distance to things and have a fridge in my room. Maybe the other rooms had fridges, but we booked the last available so I guess you get what you get. Overall, good if you looking to golf and drive around to get places.

My favorite things about Rosen Shingle Creek are the little things. The strawberry cream cheese in the market. The watermelon and mint water in the lobby. The fishing dock where I watched sunrise over the beautiful golf course. We ate at A Land Remembered to celebrate our wedding anniversary and again, the little things. The manger greets us with congratulations, and then each staff member in turn does also. Our server was awesome and funny and he ended our night with a Happy Anniversary” helium ballon! Top notch all the way around! Our only disappointment in this resort was with the spa, but that’s for another, longer spa review.

Lovely place with a lot of dining options. I’m not sure if it was just because of the storms, but the pool heaters were not working at all which was a bit of a bummer. Otherwise it was a great place.
