The stay was awesome. Great customer service and they called within an hour of checking out as i left behind a cell phone. Honesty and allowing me to return to pick it up was just one example of putting their best foot forward. I will definitely return to this location.

Location makes it all! Very walkable, close to the beach, ocean, downtown, and even sea lions. Might be a bit noisy outside during the weekend night, but this is part of the atmosphere :) Staff is very friendly, helpful and respectful. Totally recommend this place!

For the price, the room was just okay. It was close/opposite to a courtyard with stores & eating places, so late night and early morning noises of people talking/shouting and staff (presumably) moving things around on carts and trolleys... noisy wheels. No view, no balcony and coffee makings were poor: not even real milk/cream for coffee/tea, just powder sachets.

Everything was super nice at this hotel even booked another night besides two staff members. The first night we stayed we had a drink at the bar before bed. As we enjoyed our drink and the amazing atmosphere. We decided on a light snack.seeing as how the bar staff was busy at the time (getting ready for the inevitable rush) we kindly asked a women that seemed to be a manager or at the very least an employee of the hotel if they were serving food. Her reply was yes. They are serving food. In turn i asked if i could get a Margherita pizza. She told me i would have to ask the bar staff which were clearly busy and shoulder distance from her. Before promptly returning to the more important business on her phone. Not to mention the clear dissatisfaction from even entertaining my conversation with her. I later found out her name was colleen. We did not let this bother us and continued to enjoy our night as the bar staff two women which i did not get there names were very lovely. However as the night progressed about 20 min. an hispanic family came to the bar and colleens attention and same demeanor shifted to them. Asking if they of everyone around them equally enjoying the fine amenities of this hotel could "keep it down" at this point i knew what was going on. As much as i hate to see it happen miss colleen was very much portraying herself as a racist and with her supposed power in her position she radiated that ideology amongst her staff.
