This classic Alexander home - designed by starchitect William Krisel - has been updated for the way we live today, yet still honors the home's iconic architecture, innovative design, and post-and-beam modernist style. The spacious open concept floor plan and walls of glass let the light pour in - blurring the lines between indoor-outdoor living. The result is a fabulous vacation paradise where it's all about easy living in the sunshine.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
While the inside of this luxury vacation home is gorgeous, the crowning glory is the sun-drenched, private pool yard with towering palm trees and fabulous mountain views. The in-ground pool and spa are surrounded by comfortable chaise lounges - providing that resort-style experience. There's also a fire pit lounge area, an outdoor bar, alfresco dining, and a BBQ grill - everything has been carefully space-planned for entertaining.

** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. If you home has a spa or hot tub, heating the spa is included with your rental at no extra cost **

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
This classic midcentury home has the hip Palm Springs vibe of yesteryear while feeling very next century at the same time. Gorgeous in its simplicity, you'll find clean lines, an open concept floor plan and spectacular walls of glass that let the light pour in and reveal the fabulous sun-drenched pool yard. The living room, dining area and kitchen are all open to each other - providing enough space for your entire group to gather, relax and enjoy. Everything has been reimagined for the way we live today with high speed internet, 4 flatscreen TVs, a gas fireplace, and upgraded heating and cooling systems. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. **

SLEEPING QUARTERS
All of the bedrooms feature comfortable hotel-quality mattresses, ample storage, and a flat screen TV. The master bedroom offers a King bed, an en suite bath, and direct access to the pool yard. The two guest rooms have Queen beds and share easy access to the bathroom in the hallway.

THE LOCATION
Sunrise Park is centrally located in the City of Palm Springs. It's close to the airport (but not in the flight pattern) and less than a mile and a half from bustling Downtown. Restaurants, night spots, burger joints, sandwich shops, and grocery stores are all just a short drive away. Ruth Hardy Park, The Palm Springs Dog Park, two multiplex movie theaters, the casino, and the convention center are all also close by.

Great property on quiet street

This house was perfect for our 4 adults. Kitchen well equipped with a great bbq outside. Super comfortable bedrooms and living room with fireplace that came in handy on cool mornings. Backyard was lovely. Pool and spa ideal. We paid for heat in pool - a must in early Jan. Nice outdoor fireplace. Very very private yard. Citrus trees a bonus. Very quiet neighbourhood with good walking. Bikes would have been great at house. Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset and the mountains. A bit too far to walk downtown - the only drawback.

Overall very nice stay!

Great overall - clean, well appointed and as pictured. Great outdoor space! Living room furniture could use an update - worn and extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the neighbors had a dog that barked very loudly on and off throughout the day, which negatively impacted our outdoor experience.

Five star all the way. The house, Shaken Not Stirred, is wonderful. The inside is beautifully decorated and well stocked, we didn't want for anything. The pool and spa (both well heated) and entire outside area is great, spent most of our time there with plenty of seating. The location is convenient to downtown. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway house

The house was spotlessly clean, and the pool and spa were sparkling! We appreciated that all the light fixtures and switches were labeled, and the detailed listing of recommended restaurants was useful. The treats and toys for our poodle were a nice touch. Overall, we would like to come back and enjoy this centrally located house in a quiet residential area.

Family friendly PS getaway

Great house for our family of 5. Pool and hot tub were awesome and the entire backyard is like having your own oasis. The citrus trees with ripe oranges and grapefruit were an unexpected treat. The layout of the house is perfect for teens that need more space. The kitchen was well stocked and the entire house was clean and comfortable. This house is great for daytrips to Whitewater Preserve and Joshua Tree. Easy walk to downtown shopping if you don't mind the heat. Nice and quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful, clean, responsive

We had a fantastic stay at this location. The house was beautiful and clean and ACME was SUPER responsive. The coffee pot was not working so I sent a text and they had a replacement sent that afternoon. One day the heat to the pool was turned off and after texting they turned it on remotely. They were very responsive and the house was set up for all we needed. They provided basic supplies like extra paper towels and toilet paper, plenty of towels for the pool and bathrooms, they provided dish detergent, hand dish soap, hand soap, and laundry detergent. We were very happy with our stay and would stay again next time we are in Palm Springs!

The backyard, and pool are fantastic. The property is well stocked and taken care of. The only small issue is it's a "tight" 3 bedroom ... you all have to be close family or friends... (Better as a 2 bed, + office.
