Great place to stay. Such a convenient location with access to everything and a parking space. Apartment has everything you need. Price was great for all that you get. Staff were very good to interact with when booking in.

The check in closes at 3pm. The room had a smell throughout. Shower had mould in it. Water pressure was non existent. Room is really old and warn down. Would not recommend this property to anyone

Property was great, clean and well kept. The room could of done with a broom perhaps? Also could be nice to have a sign for the parking to show where to turn in (I missed it the first time I went past). Check in staff was super friendly and both the late check in and early check out was smooth and easy. Will definitely recommend it to anyone coming up in need of a stay. Thanks Starwest Team

An older property needing a thorough makeover. Positives: a roomy apartment with secure parking in a convenient location. Negatives:minimally clean. Floor in kitchen sticky chips in tiles. Hotplates burnt in dirt around rings of stove top. Washing machine: no soap. Dryer smelt when operated. Fridge did not keep food/milk cold. Wi-fi kept dropping out

Property had almost everything required for an apartment hotel. However, there were no face washers, no shower floor mats/towels, no laundry powder. Other apartment hotels visited provided all that. Air conditioner in the lounge area was not heating as required. It appears to be an old property and needing some TLC in terms of maintenace. Staff were polite and nice.

Before even setting off for Perth I had received two quite grumpy mails from the hotel with lists of things that I had to do to check in and which I was prohibited from doing once I'd checked in; this is never a good sign. For example, only the person named on the booking can check in. Check in opens at 2pm but Reception closes at midday at weekends. If you don't pay your $250 deposit and sign a contract promising to pay for any and all damages, you will be locked out of your room. Once you're in the apartment - and you're not told which floor your apartment is on so that can be a frustrating guessing game, it's a bit run down and in need of a deep clean. You're not allowed food or alcohol on the balcony but there's no furniture on the balcony anyway. The queen size bed is just two singles pushed together. The shower is awful, just a dribble if water and not really good enough. Even checking out was unexpectedly frustrating; there was one member of staff at reception who was dealing with another guest as well as answering the phone. Three other staff members left the office, walking past the back of reception and not helping the queue of guests while the poor receptionist on the desk did her best. We'll find somewhere better and friendlier for our next trip. Haven't had the $250 refunded yet either!
