Everything was fantastic... especially the big tub for two. Only drawback was couple of the pillows felt a little flat and the bed was a little firmer than we preferred... but overall a great Anniversary experience.

Our stay at the Kimpton was excellent. The staff made a sincere effort to deliver great service which was thoroughly appreciated, particularly given how busy the hotel was with 3 NBA games in the neighbouring arena over 4 nights. The room was modern, well kept with quality amenities and a sweeping view of the downtown. We also enjoyed the complimentary Happy Hour & Coffees offered to guests. The Sawyer would be my first choice for return visits to Sacramento!

Check-in is a mess. Already late at 4pm and then room wasn't ready (for us and seemingly dozens of other guests) for another hour. Line to check in also a good 30 people long from 4pm onwards.

The service is very good. The condition of the carpet in the room(s) was poor--stained. The comfort of the beds was okay, not as plush as I would have thought. Lots of homeless and pot smell in the K Street mall adjacent to the hotel.
