3 bdr, 3 bath Home Walk to bay, ocean, restaurants and shops!

Our vacation beach rental home is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom tri-level home with each bedroom and bathroom on separate levels. Each bedroom has access to its own bathroom.

We purchased it approximately 10 years ago and have totally remodeled it inside and outside. The kitchen has new cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless gas appliances. The home is naturally very light with all new dual-pane vinyl windows, doors and skylights. The bathrooms have new cabinets with granite counter tops, new vanities, lights and mirrors.

We provide lots of toys for both inside and outside! Bikes, Boogie Boards, Beach Chairs, Sand Toys! Each room has a flat screen TV, DVD players, Cable TV. We have plenty of games, cards for family time! There are 3 decks for Mom and Dad to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee in the morning. We also have a patio area facing the alley with a full table and chairs. Don't forget the Weber Gas BBQ.

The Master Bedroom has a king-size bed and its own private deck with views of Mission Bay. The Middle Bedroom has a double bunk bed with twin on top and pull-out twin trundle bed on the bottom. The Lower Bedroom has two queen beds.

All mattresses and linens are high quality and the mattresses are Sealy pillow tops. We have travertine tile in the entryways, kitchen and bathrooms. There are 3 decks and an outside patio in front for enjoying coffee or a glass of wine.

The 2-car garage has direct access to the home. The garage is stocked with 4 adult bikes, 5 boogie boards, beach chairs and towels. The natural gas Weber Gas BBQ is located off the kitchen on the second floor kitchen deck. We provide a dual 2.4 Ghz./5 Ghz. WIRELESS high-speed router, wireless printer, televisions with DVD players in each bedroom and movies (at least 25). The washer/dryer is located in the double garage.

We provide a baby high chair, umbrella stroller and pac n play for the very young.

Within a short walk are several local restaurants, delis, coffee shops and more. These restaurants are not chains, but local! The restaurants include The Mission, Saskas, Rubicon Deli, Pizza and more! Major grocery store shopping is approximately 1/2 mile north on Mission Blvd.
Make yourself comfortable in this vacation home, which features a fireplace and a flat-screen TV. There's a private balcony or patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Cable programming and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected.
This smoke-free vacation home offers books, games, and a video library. Amenities include bodyboards on site.

Best location on Mission Beach

Home was in a great location in the narrowest section of land between Mission Beach and Mission Bay which made it a short walk to get to both sides. The communication with the owner was excellent and home was as described. It was nice to have a bedroom on each of the three floors for differing bed times. The home is well stocked and this is the first vacation rental we have stayed at that we did not need to purchase additional toilet paper and paper towels.

WONDERFUL Location, Comfortable, attractive design

Easy to access the property and the garage--important on a rainy night. We were delighted with "The Mission" a restaurant a short walk away. The water was never far away, either the ocean waves or the bay ripples. Super convenient to get to the things we wanted to see, including Cabrillo National Monument, Little Italy, and the Midway. The house was beautifully stocked with TP, paper towels, laundry and dishwasher detergent, bath towels, kitchen towels, ice cube trays, spices, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, liquid hand soap, etc. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace. This is a very light-filled house with skylights and and four patio areas, There are bikes, boogie boards, folding beach chairs and everything you would need to have outdoor fun at the beach! It is pleasant to relax and read or chat at the house as well as get out and be active. We can hardly wait to visit again for another relaxing, delightful vacay!!

Nice place, great location!

Perfect location, right between the beach and the bay. Very walkable and very close to many restaurants, a mile from the grocery store, and was only about 15 mins from everywhere in San Diego that we wanted to visit.The house itself had all the amenities we needed and the floor plan was nice with an area for everyone to spend time together but also gave everyone their own little space. The host was also great and very quick to respond with any questions or information on the area!Thanks so much!

Great Stay

Location was perfect, right in the middle of beach and bay. Supermarket less than 1 mile away, restaurants very close by and walkable. All SD attractions were 15-20 mins max from the house. Joanne was a great host and very easy to get a hold of.

A girls trip for me and my sisters. The location was amazing! Walking distance to some wonderful restaurants, shopping and the beach. Ready drive to airports and other shopping or entertainment. The house and beds were comfortable and clean and we thoroughly enjoy our stay.

Nice place, excellent location

My family & I enjoyed our stay here. And you can’t beat the location! Mission bay on one side & the ocean on the other. Lots of local shops & eats in walking distance. The extras in the garage were great! Bikes & beach stuff for all ages. My only complaint would be the cleanliness. There were still used grounds in the coffee maker. Some of the towels were still damp & every shower/bath had mold& mildew.

Great Access to the Beach

The house is 3 stories, with a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. The garage had bikes and beach toys. We went in December when it was a bit cold, but it was still nice to have those available. The beach was very close. There was a two-car garage, accessed by a very narrow alley, but we had a Chrysler Pacifica which was too long for the garage. After many maneuverings we were able to park the van in on an angle. This didn't affect the enjoyment of the stay, but it added to the adventure. We have a picture of the car in the garage for our trip scrapbook.

Awesome location in Mission Beach

My family and I had a great time for our Christmas vacation. The house is in a great location between the ocean and the bay. Having each room with it's own relative bathroom on separate floors was super convenient. We would love to visit again.

Thanksgiving reunion

This home is in a great location! The home was well appointed and I was able to cook a complete Thanksgiving dinner! Only item we didn’t have was a can opener- alas no cranberry sauce…. The beds were comfy, having all the bikes were wonderful. The only criticism would be the carpet in the top bedroom has seen better days and we did see a few tiny ants on the lower level.We definitely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook

Great location and great home

We had a very comfortable stay with our 3 children. Plenty of space and a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed being able to easily walk the bay and beach and to restaurants. Host was very helpful and responds quickly. We will be back!

The location was wonderful. We did experience a few problems with electrical outlets not working. The fans that were provided,were much appreciated, however they were extremely dirty so most went unused. The unit was very well stocked with kitchen equipment, toys and and equipment for outdoor activities.

Perfect location

Great place to stay and enjoy the beach .

We enjoyed your home with the 3 stories to accommodate. The outside decks were a lovely touch. We walked the beach area and the ocean. There were games available to play and lots of amenities. Lots of restaurants to try out. It’s a beach place so the use takes its toll. A few things needed attention and we mentioned that. All in all 5 of us had a delightful time
