DESCRIPTION
Welcome to the Sandbar in Mission Beach. Located just one building back from the beach and ocean, and newly built and furnished in 2020, this rental is located in the epicenter of all the fun and action of Mission Beach next to beach shops, casual restaurants and pubs in one of the most popular tourist areas of Mission Beach.

Tastefully furnished, this Mission Beach rental provides a great environment to experience a taste of beach living. Amenities include a comfortable living room, a full-size sleeper sofa, smart TVs, a pub-height dining room tables, a full-size kitchen with a breakfast bar, and stainless steel appliances.

The property was clean and the location was perfect! Close to the beach and ice cream, boardwalk and Belmont park. Parking was a breeze. I read lots of reviews from around the area with that being a problem and we never had any issues at all. We very much enjoyed our stay. We thought it might be louder in the evening with such a central location, but it wasn’t! Very quiet around 9 on. Had one small issue getting in the first door (because I didn’t read thoroughly) and we were answered in text and then a phone call immediately. Will stay again!

The property itself was fantastic. Great location and easy access to food, beach and fun. The entry way is a little sketchy and lack of parking is a big. negative. The parking situation should definitely be highlighted in the property info. It’s a great place to stay if you’re using share rides instead of your own car. The beds and pillows could be a little comfier, but all in all it’s a great spot.

The stay was very nice, property was clean and modern. We were missing some bedding for the couch beds, which were brought over right away. We did have a few homeless guys living in the alley outside but mostly kept to themselves. Anticipated it being noisy with the proximity to Belmont park but it wasn’t bad at all.

Missing it Already!
We rented this place for a week, Saturday-Saturday. I received the check in instructions via text and email. There is two different codes you should receive (main door and apt door upstairs). The instructions listed only the apt door code, but somebody met us at the door to give us the main entry code at check in time. This location is fantastic and convenient to the beach, food, fun, and other attractions. The only obstacle we faced was parking, but once we figured out a routine and the walking to and from, it worked out. There is nothing negative to say about our stay, we all loved it and nobody wanted it to end! Highly Recommend!

The entrance was unappealing, but the inside was great. I love the two sleeping areas. The beds slept pretty good the couch bed upstairs did not. We called for linens, towels and they brought them right away. We ask for someone to look at the downstairs shower and they came right away. The beach view was beautiful.. LOVE it. Overall a great place.

Nice but could use improvements
First off, the location is great and the remodel was done nicely. There were a couple of issues however which I think could be fixed easily. 1. The AC fan in the living room started making noise in the middle of the night, it then stopped after I turned of the AC after about one hour. 2. Someone in the restaurant next door left a fan on all night during our last night there. It was quite noisy. I suggest the landlord discuss this with the owner of the restaurant. If it had not been for the noisy fans, I would have been glad to give them the full 5 stars as everything else was great.

Awesome location! Clean and beautifully modern! Loved cooking in the kitchens! Loved being able to do laundry! AC was crisp and cold. Loved that everything we needed was in walking distance! My teenagers have not stopped talking about the house! They are ready to book our next stay! Being close to Belmont can be a tad loud but we didn’t mind it one bit. Our family will definitely be back!! Highly recommended!

Expected better communication.
The place was wonderfully located and very clean. But the lack of communication and ability to get ahold of the property owners was horrible. At first we could not get into the place because our code would not work and they would NOT answer, so we sat outside in the sun for hours. When we needed toilet paper or sheets/blankets for the pull outs they also did not answer.
