Loved that the hotel was in the heart of Old Town. My room was very spacious. The bed was smaller than advertised and the shower/tub needs some updating. But other than that i was satisfied.

We had a great experience here. The room was basic and clean although the bathroom fixtures could use a good cleaning. I will say the staff was exceptional in their service from the front desk to the restaurant. We will be staying here again when we come back to SD for future trips!

Great Stay
BW Hotel is very convenient to old town shops, State Historic Park, restaurants and to the transit station. Spacious room and very clean. Comfortable bed, microwave and fridge included. Beautiful hotel but too many stairs and not enough elevators! There’s a parking fee and breakfast buffet for $13. I recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

This is an older facility which sprawls up a hill. It is fashioned in Spanish Colonial architecture with wide verandas and open terraces. Situated on the edge of Old Town San Diego, there is easy access to the state historic park and kitchy shops. There are a wealth of Mexican restaurants and a couple of blocks away several coffee shops. A wonerful Italian restaurant is nearby. The train station/transit hub is an easy walk. The building is older and this shows in some areas. Overall it is clean, comfortable, and charming with well appointed rooms.
