Our overall stay at this property was good. The location is across the harbor, we were given a lower floor room so the view was not as great. The property and rooms are older, but relatively clean. The rooms were spacious, however there was a strange smell, possibly from the AC. Our TV did not work, they came to fix it but again was not working. The positives of the property were the kind housekeeping staff, my parents enjoyed the hot tub and the breakfast which had a nice variety of items. The major negative was that you hear the street and pool area noise in your room and that the entrance to the lobby was very confusing. It is not convenient for bringing in your luggage.

This hotel has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Clean, comfy beds, pool from 8 to 10pm (important! As we started our day very early and returned back pretty late). Excellent breakfast, not fancy but all you need: eggs, hash browns, cereal, yogurt, toast bread, bagels, pastry, fruit (apples, bananas and oranges), juices, coffee (including decaf) all sorts of tea etc. The room has a fridge, small coffee machine and microwave. Great location, easy parking, dining nearby. Overall very pleased with experience.

Fun vacation
A great place to stay for visiting San Diego. We loved the location. Close to all the activities that we did. Zoo, Sea World, USS Miday, and beaches. It is an older property, but the staff was very good and the breakfast was nice.

Great location and view
Great location outside of downtown SD. It was a quick and cheap uber ride to Seaworld, Balboa Park, Gaslamp District, the Marina and several beaches.

Bed bugs?
While our stay was amazing during the duration, as we were packing up we noticed a bed bug on the bed. We didn’t see more than one and we killed it (it was full of blood) as we are driving home my partner has noticed a lot of itchy bumps on their arm. I’m writing this review in hopes to inform management. We plan to now completely bed bug spray our entire luggage when we arrive back in AZ. The hotel staff was sweet, I wish we had a chance to let them know in person, but we were really hoping it wasnt going to come to itchy arms and legs. The stay was good but we obviously are not very happy the end of our vacation has left with health concerns. I wish we would’ve caught one on our first night and not the last morning. Feels gross to have been possibly sleeping in a bed dug infested bed.

Nice hotel, pool, jacuzzi, am breakfast, our room balcony had a partial view harbor (nice), lobby and hallways were very warm and humid but that's how the weather was. Just one negative 7am palm trees trimming woke me up
