The location is great. The only downside is it is on a busy street and can be a problem pulling up to valet or check-in. Rooms are upgraded and nicely decorated. I would have appreciated a warning when I checked in that they would be conducting a fire alarm test during my stay. I was trying to conduct business and it went on for more than an hour.

Not the resort I was looking for
The hotel was great but there were 3 things that dampered my trip. For starters, the surrounding construction taking place right outside my window. Nunber 2 was the homeless encampments around the hotel. Definitely gave the DTLA vibe. Last but not least, the valet was very unsafe. The space provided for valet was very small and during peak hours the cars would back up blocking the intersection.

The staff was friendly but the service was slow at the restaurants probably because of the busy peak hours. I did not receive housekeeping the whole time I was there. I loved the convenience of walking to Starbucks and 7 Eleven. Wasn’t a far walk to USS Midway Museum. Close to almost everything which was awesome. There was a convenient water refill station by the elevators on my floor. The gym was awesome and fun to meet some of the locals there who are members of the FIT gym. 8 minute drive from airport to hotel.

Awesome City views. Bartender at rooftop bar is really cool & makes such great drinks! Try the Little Italy Spritzer. Jacuzzi was a nice relaxing spot, really appreciate the private cabanas.

Nice clean hotel. Our shower leaked all over the floor. We reported it daily. Had 3 different maintenance workers come. Was never fixed. Wasn’t a huge deal but an inconvenience for sure. Was a bit suprised they didn’t even offer is a free breakfast or drink at the bar for all the mess.

It was a nice property. Biggest downside was location—very few food options in the neighborhood. Hotel restaurant was just so-so. Also, junk fees added in to total cost— said they were for use of hotel and pool.
