Great budget-conscious hotel next to Old Town!
We have stayed at this property a few times, and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly and attentive, the rooms are clean and spacious, it is right on the edge of Old Town and next to a major trolley stop, and central to lots of San Diego attractions. The free breakfast actually includes enough choices to fill you up, and the staff does a great job of keeping things fresh and refilled. Will definitely stay here again!

Horrible place
The sink was broken, the shower dirty with hair. Was very nasty and the entertainment with a lot dust. I don’t recommend this place. Also the guy at the front desk was with flu or allergies I don’t know and he touch the papers and his nose. Horrible place

The hotel itself was great - parking was under the hotel took some getting used to but worked out. Breakfast was great. Lots of homeless people in the area, some were stalking tourist (us) with bad intentions. The city of SD need to get a grip on the homeless issue, until they do we won't be back.

Nice, clean pool. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Hot water didn’t work in the morning but that was fixed promptly. Coffee maker in room didn’t work. People working at the desk and breakfast were very nice.

Checked in at 11:30 pm after a long day of traveling, flying and driving. Extremely tired crawled into bed and there was a dirty pair of socks between the sheets at the bottom of the bed!!! I was disgusted to think the cleaning staff is to the point of being so lazy this day and age that they can’t even change sheets on beds anymore, just remake the dirty sheets for new guests.

Rm. Too dark. Frigh wasnt working had to ask twice for repair. Carpet very old and looked dirty. Stains in bath tub. Rm not cleaned until the 3rd day. Food at sire microwaved. Eggsmwere powered eggs, and tasted horrible. Coffee very weak tasting. Cook,didnt wear gloves,while preparing food. Mattress very lumpy.

Two night get away
We have stayed here many times and check in is always fast. Our room was big and very comfortable. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, toast and coffee. Tasted good and not crowded, even though the hotel was full. Enjoyed having TCM on the TV, love old movies.

Got it for the location near the airport and the price. Very clean hotel. Had smoke area out front. Breakfast in the morning until 9:30am. The entire 3 night either the AC or there was a cricket in my room 😅 all night there was noise.
