We liked that it was so easy to get anywhere in San Diego from this location. We found the parking was a bit expensive. There was one morning when we weren't able to get breakfast at the buffet due to a shortage of food and we weren't offered anything in return. We also left our privacy sign off one of the days we were out hoping that housekeeping would come by but they didn't.

The staff was so friendly and awesome! Breakfast was great and the staff was constantly cleaning up and topping breakfast items off. The room was tidy & we loved the pool & hot tub. :) The area wasn’t the safest- but everything else was great.

We were evacuated from the wildfires. The best western welcomed us, gave us a discounted rate, helped with supplies. Jessica at the front desk was fantastic! I will always try to stay there!

Worst place I have ever stayed in my lifetime, Crack ally across the street. Arrived 1 hour early said room was ready but it would be $40 USD I said absolutely not!!! so I sat in front of the lady and waited.Asked for washroom she handed me a key which I know why now.And there was diarrhea everywhere.Then the room, I have NO words to explain, except I would touch anything. They put us in a room next to the dinning area.About 5 feet away from the door and elevator on the 4th floor. breakfast was 7-10.Well get ready for 200 loud screaming people for soild 3 hours. I was in tears from exhaustion. Then they let teenage kids and families of 50 or more have game night in there. Security ever night so I could sleep from 11 to 6 Was honestly my worst nightmare.Read the reviews before hand. Bed bugs, to needles found in beds. , blood stained mattress. I read the reviews after arrival.I assumed the Hotel Name was reputable, at least in my city. Definitely not recommended, couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

The noise of kids running through the hallway was disruptive. The disrespectful guests staying on the 3rd floor above us were loud, constantly running, and heavy walking around, keeping us awake for hours while we were trying to sleep. Kids were out of control. I would not stay there again.
