The hotel is as expected but the parking lot was a disaster. Further, the $40 per night charge to park was not to be found on the website and there is no other option. It's an unplanned cost without proper notice. The hotel was extremely busy so the option of the free breakfast required a 20-30 minute wait for cooked eggs. There were no plates the first day for the other buffet. items. Our room had hair everywhere in the bathroom, even on the shower soap dispenser, which actually had no soap in it. We asked housekeeping to please clean it thoroughly the next day but there was still the same hair in multiple spots.

We stayed for a quick 1 day trip. Unfortunately there was a soccer tournament in La Jolla the same weekend. The lines for the elevator were horrendously long and no stairs to bypass. All the doors to the rooms face in which led to a very loud room. Kids running the hallway all hours of the day. Unable to get breakfast as again there was an extremely long line. To top it off they have very limited tv selection with most of the channels not working in the room. Only bright spot was the staff who was very kind. Would not recommend this hotel if there an event going on around.

We enjoyed how friendly the staff was and how clean our room was minus a few minor details. Our baby loved how roomy it was. There wasn’t much of a view from the room but we enjoyed the complimentary drinks every evening as well as the complimentary breakfast. It is a good location away from the craziness but close enough to where we wanted to go. Would definitely stay here again!

I was a bit surprised or shocked by the parking fee that the hotel charge. It was 40 dollars. I mean, the hotel is not cheap but a bit expensive. But I like to stay in Embassy suites because my previous experience with the brand was very good and it was located in Oakland, California near San Francisco. However, the food was not as great as my previous location, and everything other than that was not that great either. Anyway, in general, I and my family fine with the hotel. But, parking fee was UNEXPECTED and it was too much for my budget. and the line at the breakfast was too long and time consuming. I hope the hotel can better treat this matter cause there may be so many options for dealing with this que for breakfast. I hope hotel find solution and so will prosper as they have done so. Wishes

Okay but Way over Priced
The property charges exorbitant parking fees. Most ground level parking spaces are reserved for rental vehicles and hotel cars. There is no elevator in the parking garage. There are constant sales pitches for Hilton travel packages. The breakfast was good as at most Embassy Suites, but lacked some variety I've usually seen at other ES.

Lovely property, service and overall stay. The only negative is $40 per night for parking, which is a little high for the area, in my opinion. Street parking is available, which softens the blow. I will stay here again.
