I thought that Hilton hotels were on the nicer side of hotel options. This room was very average. Bathroom needed a big clean - lots of gross marks on the walls. We had a disturbed night due to a trio of people arguing and physically fighting each other across the hallway from us.

In general, the one night stay was just okay. Staff didn’t share any information other than our floor and room number. Usually they mention the check out time and WiFi information/process, but we got nothing this time around. Our hotel room door was jammed. We had to push really hard to close it and pull hard to open it. It needs repairs. Other than that I guess everything else was fine. Probably won’t stay again.

There seems to be mold in the bathrooms that was just sealed over? Then, there was chipping of paint and general disrepair of some of the corners.

Room services were not good. In our first night I requested for a shower cap and extra towel but never came in. The day, we requested again but did not come, so we have to go down the reception to ask for it. When we got back to the hotel on the 2nd day, our glasses were not replaced with a new one. Hope that they improve room services

The Hilton Mission Valley offers a convenient location, making it a solid choice for those looking to explore San Diego. It's close to many attractions, shopping areas, and dining options, which made getting around very easy and stress-free. However, a couple of aspects detracted from the experience. One major downside was the paid parking—it felt unnecessary, especially for guests staying at the hotel. Additionally, while the bathroom seemed to have undergone some recent renovations, certain areas still showed signs of wear and could benefit from more attention to detail. Overall, the hotel provides good value if you’re seeking convenience, but a few upgrades and more guest-friendly policies would elevate the stay further.
