The layout of the hotel is user friendly; the room & bathroom were clean; bed very comfortable; stay was quiet; day spa was enjoyable & hotel staff were friendly. The gym was very sparse; no weights and the equipment that was there was a bit dated. Not all machines worked. This was a big disappointment. The pool was well maintained. Having cabanas was an added bonus. Water was a bit chilly but not bad. The jacuzzi however; was filthy. Looked like it had been overtaken my mildew. Would not go in it. It would be nice if complimentary coffee was avail (the coffee made in our rooms Kurig tasted rancid. May be the kurig machine.) While there is house coffee avail downstairs at for purchase, this is overpriced plain coffee with added options being to add packets of sugar and or cream from individual plastic containers. You can better quality elsewhere, nearby. The food was okay. There are many dining options in the community. Location is convenient.

This hotel was more quiet than other places in Hotel Circle and still convenient to SDSU. I guess i missed it when booking, but the $32 a day for parking was a lot. I'll have to take that into consideration when pricing hotels next time.

Our overall staff was amazing, the hotel is beautiful and it smells even better. The room was spacious with my most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve ever slept on. The only thing I wish was different was the time the pool area closed. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Also driving wasn’t as bad as I thought. I do suggest getting an electric car, the hotel has on site EV charging. All in all I think the Legacy Resort Hotel & Spa was the best choice to stay at.

This hotel is quiet, and clean. But they will charge for every little thing. Amenities state “free WIFI” but you will only get 2 mbps speed and the service was very spotty. If you want higher speed, you will have to pay a daily fee. At one point, my phone even went into SOS mode because service is spotty at this hotel. Parking is not free! You will have to pay a daily fee. Overall, very disappointed in the stay. When we checked out, the lady was too busy to issue me a receipt and I have not received it yet- even though she says she will email it to me. Now I have all these extra charges that does not add up to my original reservation and I will have to waste time chasing down my receipt. Overall, disappoint.

The room bathroom had a clogged drain, that’s is my only compliant. The facility overall is clean and friendly. The location is convenient if you will be traveling all through San Diego, you can get to the beaches, downtown, north park, Hillcrest with ease from Legacy.

My husband and I came to SD to help our son move to grad school at SDSU. After a long drive down from Santa Barbara in a UHaul and moving lot of furniture, it was wonderful to stay in a comfortable hotel for the night.

**Review of Legacy Resort and Spa** I recently had a disappointing experience at Legacy Resort and Spa that I feel compelled to share. Unfortunately, my stay was marred by the behavior of the staff, who exhibited a lack of professionalism and courtesy. Their unwelcoming demeanor set a negative tone from the outset. One of the most frustrating aspects was the way the hotel handled parking fees. It felt as though they were constantly looking for ways to finagle extra money out of guests, which added to the overall sense of being taken advantage of. Clear information about parking costs was not communicated upfront, leading to unexpected charges that left me feeling frustrated and misled. Additionally, I noticed a concerning lack of inclusivity at the resort. As a member of the LGBTQ community, I felt that the environment was not welcoming or friendly. Interactions with staff suggested a lack of understanding and acceptance, which is disheartening for anyone seeking a safe and inclusive space. Moreover, I observed a similar sentiment among guests of color who seemed to receive less attention and service compared to others. This lack of respect and consideration for diversity is unacceptable and should be addressed by the management. Overall, my experience at Legacy Resort and Spa was far from what I expected from a resort. The unprofessional staff, aggressive pricing tactics, and unwelcoming environment for both LGBTQ individuals and people of color make this hotel a place
