The property was dirty. The spa was shut down by the city. There was mold in our bathroom. The room smelt like mold and was musty made us gag. There was always homeless people on the property. When we checked in the front desk girl was asleep. Another day, a different girl barely spoke two words, was very rude. The pictures lie. You think you’re getting a good deal, but you are not. Spend a little bit extra and stay somewhere that’s clean.

A place to shower, sleep, and leave the next day
It was a place to shower and sleep. The pictures on hotel.com look a lot nicer than it really is. It was in process of renovation which it needs. The elevator didn’t work and the only room left was on the third floor. This would be impossible for a physically challenged person to go up two large flights of stairs to the room. It wasn’t filthy but it wasn’t very clean either. For the price given how expensive San Diego can be, there are other choices that are nicer. It was in a wonderful location right next to Mission Bay, but no view of it. I’d rather stay in the suburbs and drive to Mission Bay or other attractions rather than stay here again. It wasn’t the worst but wasn’t good either. A rating of meh, and I’ll stay somewhere else next time applies.

Property does not look like the web page. Property was under construction. Property doesn’t seem to be the safest area. Gaps in the door and AC wasn’t working like it should. However I did not let staff know. Room had a slight odor that wasn’t pleasant.

Didn’t like the masty smell in the room.Two flies welcome us when we enter the room.Our door key was not activated for the days that we were supposed to stay.Every day we have to go the office to get it activated so we can open the door.Not a comfortable stay.

The hotel in general wasn’t updated, room had a musty smell, closet mirror was off the track and one of the luggage stand straps was broken. Also, the only thing good for breakfast was the waffles and location was near restaurants.

Our room (suite) was spacious. There were no plugs for the tub, so a bath was not possible, or the sink. The hotel is convenient to various San Diego attractions including Sea World.

It's the most irresponsible hotel I've ever seen, with just a few hours left until my check-in An employee called me saying that my reservation had been canceled because the hotel was undergoing renovations. However, they did not cancel it with expedia nor did they notify me formally, by email or by retracting it to me. When in fact they wanted to sell more expensive and because when they researched about staying there, they had rooms available. Worst experience I've ever had with a hotel in my life. I have no respect for customers, I don't recommend them to anyone.
