Under renovation and in poor shape.
We have stayed at this hotel before. It is under new ownership now and it was undergoing renovations. But the condition of the hotel right now was very poor. Hopefully they will get it right after the renovations.

under construction and generator exhust, room dated and substandard. Carpet was filithy. There was to be a Continental breakfast availble, yet there only coffee, oranges and dry cereal.. They were no replenishing thw food.

2/3 of the property is being renovated. Which is a good thing. Lots of construction and workers. So the pool and hot tub is pretty uninviting. The elevator also is being worked on. The room I stayed in was clean, but very old and smelled like cat pee. TV is old and difficult to change channels. The gym was tiny, and the work out machines were out of service/broken. No weights at all. The staff was good, breakfast was avg waffle/coffee/toast style.

The staff are so friendly and informative lol I previously stayed here on the 4th of December (last month). That was my first time there. With that being said, I can back. I love the staff and how comfortable they made me, my fiancée, my brother, and my dog (Papi/Beagle-Jack Russell Terrier mix/ 3 yr old puppy) feel. They always have a way of making me feel so welcome, like I'm their good friend. If you're professional, not only take your job seriously but actually love what you do, it shows and we (us customers) notice and appreciate it. Come next month, I'll be going back there yet AGAIN! WHOEVER HIRED THESE STAFF I'VE ENCOUNTERED, I SERIOUSLY WANT TO THANK YOU PERSONALLY FOR HIRING THE RIGHT GROUP OF PEOPLE FOR THIS JOB. I REALLY WISH I COULD GIVE YOU AND EVERY STAFF MEMBER A HUG. I think its ok for just a sleep in
●Checking in was easy, the lady was on point and even stated the breakfast hours and where it would be. ●Parking spaces in front of the rooms are a bit tight, but there were plenty of spaces on the parking area on the side of the building. ●The room smelled musty upon our entry. It seemed like it was not used for a long time. I worried about the beddings to be honest. ●It's just unfortunate that we are on the bottom floor, the room directly above us seem they were up all night, the thumping & dragging sound was all night! It would stop once in a while, but we can hear them even until before we checked out, and it was loud! I conveyed the matter to the counter clerk upon check out, but she said they can't do anything about that (even if she's right, she could have said it nicer). ●In the morning, my wife discovered a big roach inside the bag of our McDonald's. Sadly we were not able to take a picture of it as it quickly ran and hid behind the tv cabinet when my wife touched the bag.

Horrible Experience
I got two rooms with two queen beds each. From the beginning, the room smelled weird. In one of the rooms, the toilet moved, and there was visible mold around the restroom. The TV remote did not work and one of the bed frames was broken. In the other room, the sliding mirror doors were broken, the TV remote was nowhere to be found, there were fleas everywhere, and to top it off there were dirty socks and bottles from previous guests! Also, the place was under construction and there was no notice or warning that was going to be happening when we booked the stay.

I liked that this property was close to Sea World, our main reason for staying. “Continental Breakfast” was disappointing; very limited with only cereal, milk, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, toast. Don’t expect scrambled eggs, sausage, fruits etc that usually come with the whole continental spread. Our room was clean at first entry. We came back from Sea World and found our beds were made; however, our restroom looked like it had been used (#2) and wasn’t flushed all the way. I’m quite sure we didn’t leave the restroom like that. The sink and shower had poor drainage as well. TV remote wasn’t working properly. They’re in the middle of a remodel or something so parking is limited and a bit dusty. Overall I wanted to like this place, but the little things that went wrong added up to too much inconvenience for our family. Maybe it was just a bad luck stay.

Example: Do you have more shampoo? No, we do not have more . Can you clean the room? sorry, we are short of staff today. The service at this hotel was disappointing. The hotel was often short on supplies when asked, such as shampoo, and very limited food and drinks at breakfast. They were also short of staff when we asked for our room to be cleaned. We found ants in our beds, walls and tables various times. The room air and conditioning felt old and moldy, and irritated our throats/lungs -- my wife got sick. This is not a negative feedback, but have to consider the comments. Good they started to renovate the rooms, but also need to revised their service process to the customers.
