One of the housekeepers knocked my door so many times and tried to open my door at 9 am in the morning. The door was almost opened but I stopped the person to open the door by making a shout to stop. It is a very basic and common etiquette for clerks of hospitality service not to open a guest's room before a checkout time no matter what. There was no tiny little reason for them to open a guest's door to clean the room ealier without check with counter or admin office whether a guest is still inside or not. Unacceptable situation by any reason. No doubt. Super unsatisfied with it.

I had an older clerk that moved very slowly and the checking in took a very long time. My room key cards didn’t work at first so I had to go back to that slow worker and wait even longer for it to be resolved. The room was very dated.

The pictures don't do this place justice. It is actually disgusting and the room we got clearly hadn't been used in some time. The ac smelt so gross but it was hot and we had no choice but to use it. No other rooms were available. They weren't clear what they were charging me for. They only gave me $22 after everything from my deposit. We extended our stay and one person said $35 and when we needed 30 more minutes, the next person I talked to didn't see I was already extended BUT told me to extend they charge $45. When I told her what was said prior, she quickly said oh okay $35 then. So they will up charge you just because. When we told them about the bugs they said they will just tell housekeeping to clean better. The handle in the bathroom had broke before we had the room and we know that because they taped it electrical tape. This place is next to an uncover hotel for immigration and several people were making Udon noodles in a big pot right out front the hotel. Some came in front of ours and were doing the same thing. I will never stay here again and neither should you. Staff is quick to push you away and not hear anything you have to say and not take the time to go see what you are talking about. Truly a disgusting place.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked rooms before we had read the numerous negative reviews. When we realized our mistake, five minutes later, we attempted to cancel the reservation and receive a refund. We were told by Expedia and by the hotel that they had a strict no refund policy. The representative at Expedia actually HUNG UP ON US.

This property has been redone, it’s beautiful and meticulously taken care of. Close enough to get to the beach. It’s a great place to stop at on your way through town or as a home base. We will be back.

Horrible service
Drove all the way out to San Diego and get to the hotel for them to tell me they don’t have the room I booked online. I booked a room with a King and bunk bed and they only had a room with 2 queens. They also said they couldn’t refund me because I booked through a third party and could only give me a DISCOUNT on parking.. ridiculous.
