Nice room, easy access to the beach and to the shops. It was a bit noisy, but not as much as expected given the hubbub in the early evening. Overall, we enjoyed it.

We LOVED our stay. Usually go to mission or pacific beaches but this hotel is a gem. Seating areas with ocean views, rooms cleaned daily with bleach (which I love), so many food and bevy options and a local dog beach and ocean beach right out the door, as well as safe parking and a little store at check in. Staff was great!

The inside was amazing romantic. Right in the middle of everything. Was very sad to leave. Can’t wait to go back. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. Just remember it’s 100 years old. Views are outstanding.

Good hotel in a nice location (although the park across the street had a lot of loud and sometimes dangerous activity). The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The only main negative was a very smell comforter and bed spread (bad BO), and we had to request for a new one (we were surprised that it was not noticed. Aside from that, if you are looking for a convenient hotel with low amenities, but clean rooms and friendly staff, look Ocean Beach is a winner.

Super staff, property is really nice, accessibility to beach and tide pools couldn't be better. Our third time here and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Never even rent a car, you can walk to everything you need..endless food options and cool bars.. groceries.. shopping.. it's the best.

The staff and location are great. However the area is pretty sketchy, with unhoused all around and lots of noise and activity immediately outside the hotel. The facility is dated.

GREAT location, great staff, property condition okay… Parking spaces are SMALL and so are the rooms! Rooms VERY basic, dated, and the matress killed my back…Not properties fault, but…Saturday night is apparently PARTY night. Loud people in courtyard until around 2am… woke my wife around 1:45am, she peeked out the window to see why yelling going on, to see a guy in courtyard with pants around his ankles yelling obscenities…etc. People are people ya know…
