Good spot for beach access
This is a very active little strip of land between the bay and the ocean with a LOT of homes packed onto it, and one main road up and down the strip. There are pros and cons to staying in this area. Pros--super close to the beach (2 min walk, maybe 5 with little kids and a lot of gear in tow). Coffee shops and a few eateries less than a one-minute walk away from the front door. Cons--it was loud at night for me (not just on New Years with fireworks that shook the house, that is to be expected!) with activity outside and planes flying overhead. The house itself is well-appointed and comfortable! The front door almost looks like a back door--the front door doesn't face the street, rather the walkway between other multiplexes, and it's behind a gated patio. Very glad parking was included, although getting our minivan in and out of the tight spot took some maneuvering. My main disappointment was that there is no washer/dryer. Traveling with kids and being near the beach makes having a washer almost a necessity. My fault for not specifically looking at the listing to clarify that. It's one of the big reasons we like to stay in rentals vs hotels.
