Certainly! Here’s an improved version: --- The entire staff was not only kind and professional but truly made our visit memorable. A special mention goes to the wonderful lady at the front desk. She went above and beyond by suggesting fantastic places to visit in San Diego, including some hidden gems we had never explored before. Her recommendations and guidance on how to get around made our trip even more enjoyable. Breakfast was great too

The pictures shown don’t give these rooms enough Justice. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern, Lovely kitchenette, provided large fridge, small stove, cutlery. The bathroom was beautiful Upto date. Great breakfast, lovely staff. Clean and safe surroundings. Wish I’d stayed in San Diego longer.

The inside of the hotel and our room were clean. We had access to a small kitchenette with stove, sink & fridge. If you’re staying in SD > 1 day, this would come in handy. Staff were friendly and professional. The free breakfast buffet was good. The only things we didn’t like were 1) the room got unbearably hot even though the AC was set at the lowest setting. Whole family woke-up sweating that night, and it was hard falling back to sleep; 2) the elevator broke down the next day. Luckily our room was on the 2nd floor and we only had to mange a few flights of stairs. But, the issue was the heat! I noticed how hot it was walking from our room to the stairwell. It made me question whether there was also an AC issue on that floor, AND 3) parking was hard to find; went around twice looking for it, only to find it after paying at the public parking kiosk in front of the hotel. Their hotel parking was situated a few feet on the right hand side of it ( if you’re facing the hotel). It would be helpful if they made the sign bigger. Would have preferred parking at their parking structure for more safety.

First trip to San Diego
The staff were very friendly. The room was great but there were a few things that weren’t cleaned properly and there was a washcloth missing from Day 1. I was also told that upon check in, there would be a hold placed on my card but wouldn't be officially charged until check out. Just a heads up: The money gets taken out immediately. If you are a person who budgeted your trip with the assumption that you’d still have the hotel budget until check-out, WRONG. Despite this miscommunication, I absolutely enjoyed my stay and would book with TownePlace Suite again.

The hotel and parking were immaculate but it is in downtown. The surrounding area and neighborhood was dirty, smelled like pee and scattered with homeless. Thankfully they minded their own business

The elevator doesn’t connect so you have to walk out onto the street with all your belongings then in the front door. Parking is $35 a night. So, the price is false advertisement in my opinion. The “pull out bed” was awfully uncomfortable. As well as a couple of bodily fluid type stains on the couch. The view just gives you scenes of the homeless, nothing nice. All in all, I will not return to this location ever again. Not worth it.
