This was great little motel. The owner was very nice! We had to check in early and they were more than happy to accommodate us. The room was clean and updated. Next time though I would request a room upstairs because the people above is were quiet loud most of the time. It was in the perfect spot for us. We parked our car and never had to drive it anywhere the rest of our stay.

Was charged in additional fee apart from everything I paid through the application I used Expedia. I found sand in hair on the pillow and sheets unable to speak to anybody about the issue. I just left five hours after the check-in taking my loss. I couldn’t have my family stay there. I was not comfortable. Neither were they with the room being unsure if it was even clean.

The place is slightly rough on the details, but pretty much exactly what is expected of a place that is literally on the beach (and pier). The room space is also on the tight side but workable. They do keep things clean and the noise levels are normal, sometimes very quiet. The sound of the waves makes for a calming experience. In high tourist season the noise level goes up of course. Not the most fancy place but if you like the idea of getting to the beach in 1 minute from your room, then this is the place.

Nothing fancy. But you can’t beat the location. Walking distance from the beach shopping and the main area of Pismo Beach. If you are looking to stay in the room on vacation pick another place if you are looking for just to stay and sleep. You can’t beat this location.
