My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Very nice hotel right on the beach … beautiful views, comfortable rooms and really friendly staff. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pits at The Deck and loved the coffee and food offered there. Perfect spot to relax! We will definitely stay here again.

Great location and views!
Just steps from the beach, we loved our stay at the Sandcastle Inn. The Deck (lounge restaurant onsite) had quick light bites available almost all day with great views. The hotel has bikes available to rent and an excellent location with a small parking lot for self park. The room was clean and had a comfy bed and a mini fridge, the bathroom was a tad small and the walls between rooms/hallways were super thin. I had a couple work conferences during the day and the people in my zoom call could hear the rowdy children thru the wall next door. I would stay again for a beach visit where I don't plan on having to work from the room most of the day!

Very nice stay
Very nice. Clean, cozy, right on the beach and very close to pier. Everyone was so nice. The only bummer was the close the decks and turn off the fire pits early. Especially on a Friday night. It wouldve been nice to chill outside later on a beautiful night.

The room was smaller than the rest on our floor and there was stains of liquid all over the walls, drains were slow in shower and sink, and the carpet was gross... stained and sticky. More attention should be put into the room cleanliness.

Location was the only good thing.
Great location but the room wasn’t that great. The smell of mold and dampness was apparent. And while it seemed to have been renovated to a degree, you could tell it was poorly done.

Not as expected.
I stayed in the King Suite, told this was a premium best room, but they did not tell me it was outside of the hotel while all the other rooms were indoors. The bar and restaurant stated in the descriptions and photos were nothing but a service counter for coffee or drinks. No bar to sit at, no restaurant to order and sit at a table. The fire pits were nice but one has to race to enjoy one as they weren’t as plentiful, as seen in the photos. We ordered food from a menu using a bar code but the food was less than the photo as well. I was very disappointed in the stay, but the service was excellent as was the bedding and pillows.

Really enjoyed this hotel, but there are a few things it could do to improve. The elevator was REALLY slow even with no traffic, there was no refrigerator in the room, the hot water didn’t get hot - luke warm at best, and the robes were tiny and made anyone who wears larger than a medium feel like a fatty. Lol Other than that, it’s beautiful, decorated well, in a wonderful area, and I would stay here again!

My daughter & 2 granddaughters had an amazing time. The patio has comfortable chairs and couches with fire pits facing the ocean. My only complaint is our room was very, very small. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room,when we did, it was a tight squeeze.
