Overpriced "ocean view" resort
Hotel is older and it shows. They charge a fortune for parking...$42/day. Then on top of that a $40/day "resort fee", which I'm not sure why I was paying because all of the amenities (spa, pool, etc) were closed for renovations. The "ocean view" we paid a lot for you had to squint and be on your toes to see...the ocean is across a major road. Lots of traffic noise too. The room was spacious and fine. They put us right by a bathroom and people slamming the door day and night made it hard to sleep. Overall I would not stay again. The price didn't justify the view.

Not an actual resort as far as I can tell
Terrible - no hot tub or pool facilities during construction and no notification of this - they blamed Hotels.com for not notifying us - so we probably wont be using Hotels.com anymore either no hot water 2 days running off duty manager was initially condescending when I tried to address the issue they should not call themselves a resort if they dont provide resort ammenities and service

Our stay was wonderful! We had a king-sized bed with a patio. The staff was polite and helpful. The only tiny problem was I looking forward to a dip in the hot tub, which was under construction and I wasn’t made aware until we arrived. The dining options were delicious if you don’t feel like venturing out. You can’t complain when the beach is just across the grounds. It was a peaceful vacay!

It was a little underwhelming, the ceiling in the bathroom looked old and it was brown too. The area in general feels underwhelming in general. Does the job.

Booked as a last minute getaway, and the property exceeded our expectations. Anna at the front desk was a superstar. The Starbucks and bell crew were an absolute pleasure to chat with. We loved the convenience of the beach chair rentals. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Strict about checking in early even though we were there at 2 to race the next day a half marathon. Got to room and shower wasn’t working. Wanted to rest but fixing shower required man banging and drilling for an hour. Resisted a refund at first but managed 150 off 450 dollar 1 night stay. Should have been higher refund for situation. Won’t stay there again.
