It was what we expected I guess… not much available UCSB parents weekend. Basically a motel. Clean enough; beds were squishy with odd sized pillows. It was quiet and the staff were friendly.

It's fine
Sandpiper is nice...priced reasonably. It is clean and fairly quiet. Continental breakfast is very limited. The only real drawback was the slow wifi and 0-1 bar reception on my phone. Maybe because I was on the ground floor under a stairway. If the price was low enough I'd stay here again.

Room was great for the price I paid. Girl at the front desk was sweet. The room was clean, the safe was broken and couldn’t be used and the area is a bit noisy, but I’d stay here again.

For Santa Barbara, this is one of the only affordable motels. Room was clean and property is reasonably maintained. Check-in/out process was super easy. If you’re looking for a no-frills motel that doesn’t break the bank, this is your place!
