The Space:
The house is big and bright. Located on a corner lot with lots of windows for natural lighting. The house has 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 full bathrooms. The kids room has lots of toys and books, baby gates for the stairs, a pack in play and portable high chair. Downstairs you will find a 4th bedroom and full bathroom with a walk in shower. Downstairs also has 2 living areas (family and living room) and 2 dining areas(formal and casual). There's plenty of space for up to 9 guests to enjoy the house comfortably. The house is perfect for a group of adults or a family(s) with children. You'll have garage access and a full size washer and dryer. In the garage you'll find 2 kid bikes and an adult bike as well as lots of beach gear. In the well landscaped backyard you'll find visiting Monarch Butterflies, a fire table and chairs, cold outdoor shower to rinse off sand and a BBQ for outdoor cooking. The perfect set up for the laid back Santa Cruz lifestyle.
This is a shoeless house and absolutely no pets. Breaking the no pet rule will result in a $200 fee and claim filed with Airbnb.

The house is 100% yours during your reservation. We do ask that you respect the neighbors and neighborhood. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES or large groups. MUST BE OVER 25 TO BOOK.
The Neighborhood:
You will love this house and enjoy that it is just a few minutes walk to West Cliff Drive and Natual Bridges State Beach. This is an ideal family vacation place any time of the year! The house is equipped with bikes, beach chairs, sand toys and beach towels. West Cliff Drive offers white water views of boats, whales, dolphins, sea otters, pelicans and other wildlife. If you enjoy watching surfers catch the ultimate wave head to Steamers Lane near Lighthouse field. In the fall you will see 1000's of Monarch Butterflies during their annual migration. Walk or bike to westside cafes and restaurants, the Lighthouse, Natural Bridges, downtown, the wharf, bakeries and excellent breweries, wineries are a 10-minute bike ride away. Art openings in the neighborhood and a farmer's market each Saturday just .5 miles away. The downtown farmer's market is on Wednesdays. Santa Cruz is the ultimate place to find fresh organic produce. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is an 8 min drive or 2.4 miles down Delaware Ave.
The neighborhood has a few other vacation rentals mixed long term residents. It is a fairly quiet respectable neighborhood. Nice and clean in one of Santa Cruz's sought after neighborhoods. We ask our guest to follow the Santa Cruz noise ordinance of - No person shall between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. make, cause, suffer or permit to be made any offensive noise (1) which is made within one hundred feet of any building or place regularly used for sleeping purposes, or (2) which disturbs, or would tend to disturb, any person within hearing distance of such noise.
Getting Around:
Uber, LIFT, city transportation and taxis, walking, and biking, JUMP Bike is just around the corner.
Other Things to Note:
Summer! Is a lot of fun in Santa Cruz. There is so much to do! It's a great time to go whale watching or stand up paddleboarding, go for a long bike ride along West Cliff Drive or take a surfing lesson. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk also has great specials during the week that will save you a lot of money without the crowds.
Fall is upon us this means that the beaches aren't packed with people and yet the weather is still warm and beautiful. Humpbacks are still in our bay and you may spot one breaching offshore or get on one of our local Whale Watching tours and you will see so much sea life. This is the season to enjoy watching Grey Whales from the shore as they migrate to Mexico with their calves. There are also many Monarch butterflies across the street at Natural Bridges State Park. You may also spot a few in our backyard.
