Nice mid-priced hotel. Only problem is that it ‘upgraded’ my room without asking me. I wanted the room and building (Tower) that I requested. I was originally told the Tower was not available, but the excellent desk clerk was about to do some magic to secure me a room where I wanted (and booked).

Lovely grounds
The family stayed for one night for ease in attending our first Stanford football game. The hotel is quite extensive, with multi-level buildings and rooms. From what I could see, they all faced a beautiful creek and had lush landscaping and trees. A gorgeous oasis! The room was comfortable and clean—ours had a little sitting nook outside that was semi-private. There were nice toiletries, and a mini fridge and coffee maker. The breakfast is very basic, nothing to write home about. Overall, a lovely stay.

Bed was very clean and comfortable. The remodeled bathroom was roomy and clean. Plenty of free parking. The free breakfast was a small table of various grab & go food items which was sufficient. The only non-favorable thing about our stay was that the coffee in the room and the lobby was not good at all.

It was ok, good location , nice property's, room decor was ok but found a half eaten salad in the refrigerator told the front desk and they said sorry and asked if I threw it away. For the motel ratings of 9.0 I would think that they would have a more thorough cleaning of the rooms and a better response at the front desk. Not sure if I would stay there again

Our second stay at this wonderful inn - we love it. Lush gardens & lovely old trees evoke Old Palo Alto. Spacious room w/ patio overlooking garden and water fountain. DAILY clean towels and bedding make it a real joy to stay here. Basic continental b'fast but good coffee makes up for it. We'll be back - can't wait!

I was referred with a list of motels in this area from Stanford surgical hospital. I chose this motel off the list because it was close to where I was going to have my surgery. Upon arrival Monday 9-2-2024 I asked the staff that checked me in. If it would be possible to get some of their continal breakfast at 4:00am on Tuesday 9-3-2024 for my daughter who was going to be at the hospital all day waiting for my surgery to be done. They said that it would not be a problem that they were staffed 24 hours a day. When I showed up at the door at 4:00am and tried to get in the door was locked. I rung the bell at the window. After about the 4th ring a staff member came to the window very annoyed that I had woke her up. When I explained to her what I was there for. She told me that she could not help me. I complained later that day after my surgery and the staffed member that was there at that time Apologized and said that they would leave a message for the manager and I still have not heard anything from them. I was just disappointed in how the staffed handled my concern.
